Hampton Inn & Suites Inner Harbour

Mediocre at best. Didn’t sleep well due to other guests talking throughout the night as well as opening and closing doors practically all night. Elevator had a mind of its own. When we asked for late check out we were given a whole half hour. Pipes in the room rattled though out the night as well.

Stayed for a night in 2014, and the room we had was spectacular.

Great hotel! Clean, nice pool, awesome complimentary breakfast. Christian at the front desk was very very helpful. Only complaint was that we had to wait 45 minutes for our car from valet.

I had another guest enter my room, rob me. Hotel reports I’m at fault for opening the door. Unexplained why hotel security never contacted police after being told my belongs were gone through.
I have filled a police report with Baltimore police; report # 1 – 15 099 139
I have yet to even receive an apology from the hotel.

It’s a beautiful little hotel, very close to all the local attractions, really at a walking distance from everything. Being its location the amenities in the surroundings are great. Valet parking. Rooms are spacious and service is great and staff is friendly. Kids enjoyed it, loved my stay.

This hotel and service was absolutely perfect. Everyone was very friendly and very helpful. The hotel desk receptionist Dondrea, WAS ABSOLUTELY amazing for me and my family. Very friendly and very helpful. The valet service, I absolutely recommend, it is 32. oo a night but it is worth it. You can get your car as many times as you like. The continental breakfast in the morning was delicious. The inner harbor is beautiful and I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

The hotel was great. Very friendly staff (house keepers, desk, valet) and were all very helpful. They had complimentary coffee/​tea all day and night long as well as a very nice continental breakfast each morning. Within walking distance to the waterfront (two blocks or so) and many other attractions and bars to go to. The upgraded room was worth the additional $ ¹⁵⁄₂₀ or so as the standard room was a bit of a squeeze but they were nice and clean. The beds were super comfortable as well.
The only downside we experienced was the lack of free parking. It was $ 32 to valet park overnight because there just isn’t enough legal available parking around. So if you are lucky enough to get one of the few spots that’s legal after 5pm fantastic… If not, prepare to pay another premium.
I would definitely stay here again and probably will this winter.

Clean but my two main issues are 1 — no free parking. $ 32 for valet parking
2– poor HVAC maintenance. The lobby’s AC was out all weekend — eating breakfast in 87 degree heat stinks, and it got worse as the day went on. Our room never got below 77 degrees, as the AC could not keep up on a hot (but not u usually hot) day if 92 degrees. We slept poorly — do not recommend coming In the summer

Pros: Good location, great breakfast and coffee, comfortable beds, suites with sink, microwave, fridge and room for six people, secure — key card for everything including elevator
Cons: This hotel handed me a bill for $ 787 but up-​charged an extra $ 120 on my bank card for the «potential» of incidentals such as valet and movies which we did not use. I expect my bill upon check out to reflect what is charged to my card. My only explanation for these «anticipated» extra charges is that we were there for Maryland Deathfest and they expected the room to be trashed, which it was not. I am also a member of their Hilton Honors program, which makes me even more confused as to why I would be treated this way. Guess I will just find another hotel chain to give my money to. Not staying with them again if they will not explain upfront that there is a «deposit» on a room. This has never happened to me at a hotel before.

I wasn’t impressed with the check in but the room was WOW! Very spacious and clean. We had 2 queen suite so it had a bathroom area along with a sink, a kitchen area with microwave, refridge, counter space and sink. Our couch also turned into a bed and we also had a work station. We had a family of 4 and still had plenty of room. The things they should work on is having more kids channels. It says they have Nickelodeon but it’s a direct TV movie channel. PBS was too baby & Cartoon Network is too old for my kids. We requested a non smoking room and it is but all of the rooms around us are smoking so my hall smelled like cigarette smoke really bad!!!

This hotel was a block from the inner harbor and easy to get to from the interstate. Valet service also superb we arrived at 11 pm they got us in expeditiously. The hotel staff was friendly and attentive during our stay. Also the breakfast was a pleasant surprise. We will be back again.

Great location, hotel was converted from an old historical building and had a lot of personality. Lobby is beautiful, staff was pleasant, breakfast was good (especially since it was FREE.) The gym was small and the shower didn’t have the best water pressure, but the rooms were large, well taken care of and have great views. Walking distance to shopping, harbor, convention center, aquarium and really REALLY good restaurants. Will be staying here again!

Internet down right now and a little far from Camden yards
Hotel staff was very friendly and room was clean. If you are looking for a hotel a few blocks away from the inner harbor but close enough to walk then it is a good place to stay.
Free breakfast was a nice touch and tasty

A very welcome staff, valet parking only ($ 32 but you do get in/​out privileges). The room we got was huge with frig and micro.
It has the usual HI breakfast.
The hotel is a block plus from the Inner Harbor. Lots of places to eat, harbor cruises galore. Great people watching as well.
Huge lobby with lots of places to just sit and read.

Decent hotel. I travel a lot, so the bar is already pretty high. Stayed there one night for a football game. Walls are pretty thin, kept hearing other people talking and doors slamming all night. Breakfast was great, if only for the waffles. :). Would stay again for one night, not more than that.

Great little hotel. This hotel was squeezed into an old historical building and I thought this gave the hotel a lot of charm.
A little on the pricey side, we had reward points to use luckily.
The room was comfy and clean.
Easy walk to the inner harbor as we walked everywhere during out visit.
Highly suggest this hotel if you need one in the area! Free hot breakfast in the morning and it was all yummy foods! Unlike some other hotels that just have cereal and muffins.

I can’t say enough about this hotel. We were staying there on a business trip and everything from check-​in to check-​out was perfect! Staff was great, rooms were very nice and the breakfast that was offered was far above the norm for a continental breakfast!
They have my business on my next scheduled visit to the area!!!

With a budget, this place is as good as it gets! Clean rooms, hot breakfast in the morning, free wifi, minutes to the inner harbor and not unreasonable to Camden Yards (15 – 20 minute walk). Yes! Stay here!

Stayed here for 2 nights. We had asked for adjoining rooms, they just kept telling us «it’s not guaranteed». And indeed, when we arrived we didn’t get adjoining rooms, but to try and satisfy our request, we had two rooms in a private end-​of-​hall area that basically served a similar purpose. So that was good.
Positives include quiet, dark rooms; good toiletries provided; the breakfast was satisfying with a lot of choice (although I didn’t understand why the plates/​cups/​bowls were all Styrofoam and then they provided a microwave — you can’t microwave Styrofoam, so it was basically useless); check-​out time is noon; Wifi was included in the price and was always easy to connect to and a strong connection at that.
My room key never worked; I had to change it 6 times. And although the front desk guy suggested it was my fault (keeping it close to something magnetic), one time he gave me the key, I went upstairs and it didn’t work, so it was obviously the door. I did appreciate he suggested I use the reception phone by the elevators so I didn’t have to keep going up and down every time it happened. Good customer service.
Good area, valet parking expensive though. I’d recommend it.

This is my second Hampton Inn stay recently and the room seemed cleaner than the last location. My room was huge and it had a King bed. As for the location, my window looks out to a «coming soon» hotel which is a little eerie but it had the opaque layer for privacy. The other window where the sink and entrance to bathroom is facing the Marriott across the street. Eerie again. Did I mention it only had a see through curtain?
The microwave and fridge was a nice addition. The mesh chair for the desk is another favorite. The clean personal couch was nice also. The fluffy 4 pillows on the bed? Another plus! Outlets and wifi, Yes!
Service was quick as far as check in and front desk calls. When there was an issue the maintenance staff came immediately. There was the snack shop and business center (with a mean monster fax/​copier/​printer) available.
You are about 3 blocks from the Inner Harbor so you can always catch dinner there before retiring for the night.
