The quintessential tourist spot in Baltimore — Inner harbor & Harbor Place. A great mall with a mix of stores — local and national chains. Claire’s, Bath & Body Works, Food court area — with some nice seating. Clean and pleasant. Gotta come here at least once to check it all out.

The Harborplace is the epitome of the beautiful and well visited Inner Harbor area. The Harborplace is actually a combination of three separate buildings. Two are small malls with little shops(many of which are souvenir and gift stores) and eateries and are on the waterfront, and one is across the street and is a full sized mall. All locations are really clean, well maintained and pretty friendly. My favorite of the three is the one at the end called the Light Street Food Mall. They’ve got the best souvenir shops in the city, and some decent food spots, especially if you’re just looking for a snack(like the touristy but fun fudge shop where they make fudge and sing right in front of you). If you’re looking to get away from tourists this is the last place you should go but if you’re just looking for a nice clean area of Baltimore to check out while walking around the piers, having a seat on a bench, and grabbing a little snack or gift then this is the place for you.
