This is a great little men’s hat shop in downtown Baltimore. We’ve driven past here numerous times, but this past weekend, my husband and I decided to stop in while sightseeing around the marathon. While I was a bit sad that they don’t sell women’s hats here, their selection and knowledge of men’s hats is excellent. The shop owner had my husband’s hat size and head shape down with one glance. He helped us find a lovely white straw hat for our upcoming tropical weather trips. He even swapped out the white band for a black one for a more classic look. Talking with the owner during this transaction was a real hoot. He reminds me of my grandfather. He said that this December(2014) the shop will be celebrating their 30 anniversary! Help out a genuine, local, small business and do your part to bring back the style of handsome men in dashing hats!

Just bought my first Panama hat here. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Love the hat and will likely return for a winter hat when the weather changes. They design their own hats, which are woven in Ecuador but blocked here in the US. Fine quality, although I do wish the sweatbands were leather instead of cloth.

I am shocked that I am the first person to review this shop. I first visited this shop about 6 years ago. I was living in Hawai’i and visiting family here on the East Coast. I mentioned to my father that I was looking for a new Fedora. He smiled and said, «Get in the car, I know exactly where to go.» This place sells name brand hats and their own private label hat. But the key here is that they also service the hats they sell. If you don’t know anything about hats, that sounds kinda silly at first read. However, it is actually quite useful. Everything from changing the band around a hat, to making minor adjustments. They have a huge selection, knowledgable and friendly staff, and a rare market now-a-days. There really aren’t that many true men’s hat shops left in the country. Trust me, I’ve looked! Be grateful we have one of the few right here in Baltimore! After writing this review, I’ve decided I need to go buy a new summer hat! See you there!
