Food was awesome. Service sucked. They were short staffed as they said they were down 2 bartenders, but over two hours from start to finish for our meal is absurd. The bartenders were not on their«A» game whatsoever. It took at least 20 minutes to cash out because they weren’t paying attention to their customers. I usually tip 20% and they’re lucky 18% was automatically included because they were not deserving of that today. We will give you guys another chance though because the food was so good. However, after that if service is non-existent this won’t become a new favorite.

The wings alone are legendary make sure you try the CHEFSTYLE garlic spicy hot OMG. The owner Gary is a Harmless buffalo Bills fan, but a real cool guy. He claims in his hay day he use to hang with Rick James!

Was a regular here for over 3 years once a week back when I lived in B’More. Pros: food is delicious and the price is decent. Wings are pretty good. I would get their honey barbecue wings. Not perfect, but close. Top notch fries. The best really. Also, cheap dessert and the best brownie sundae ever served. Friendly atmosphere, good service. Only con, it gets very busy sometimes and it takes a while to get a check. Other than that, a great place.

The service is a little slow but that’s usually cats it’s so crowded. But when you do get in I recommend the chef style wings fried hard(the buffalo sauce is the owner’s special recipe) or the shrimp chicken cheesesteak it costs a little more but the shrimp are big & worth the extra couple bucks. And I believe they have the best chicken & shrimp Alfredo in the city. The crowd is always friendly & fun to hold general conversations with. If you are visiting the city of Baltimore iBar is one of the places you must check out!

Chef Style baby!!! A must try on the wings. Its their signature sauce. What can I say, I love this place. I usually go about 2 times a week, pretty much a regular. All of the food is exceptional. Jeff and Becky, the owners have stepped up the game and place. Wings, chicken cheesesteak, soft tacos, and premium salads stand out. Oh, and did I mention the Long Islands and Patron Margarita’s ??? No joke, heavy handed and to the point… when their made right, their on point. We have solved world hunger, global warming, and the Ravens secondary while seating in this place. Home feel, diversity friendly, and a place for good food and drinks period. Can get tight at times, but thats because people come back over and over –Lester

I’m from WNY so I know wings. These are legit. I prefer chef style. Hand cut fries and Caesar salad here are also banging. Staff is great and super friendly. Great place to watch the game on Sunday.

The drinks are strong and the service is pretty good at the bar. The wings are delicious and I love them nice and crispy and spicy. The Chef’s style was very good and when I crave wings, I’m probably going to hit this place up. It’s pretty laid back and chill. It’s a nice spot to go alone and enjoy a bite or with some friends. I recommend!

For all the hype of the Chef Style wings, I have to say that the regular are much better. In my view, there is too much going on with the Chef’s, and all we wanted were some good ol’ fashioned wings, which they well have there. So order those. Service remains great and fun, and the iBar is a strong Balmore place, fuh shizz.

ok damn these wings are good. the chef special is as good as the hype. no need to get them fried«hard», they are already super crispy. fair warning that the«hot» wings are very very hot and although I’m typically a fan of wings with some kick, the medium is definitely closer to your typical«hot» level wings. my new go-to spot in the area! also, you can’t split an order of wings into different flavors. only down side

Went here to meet a friend… Sat for about 20 minutes and the servers never even acknowledged us. It wasn’t that crowded. we left. That 18% added must have their heads in a place where they think they can do what they want. The time before this I ordered carryout and paid extra for«chef style wings»(buffalo with garlic and parm, which kislings has for no additional charge)…my inner greedy self told me to check the bag in the car. Took the bag in and was questioned about me paying the extra 50 cents or 1 for chef style. Ma’am I have more important things to do than to go through all of that trouble to save 50 cents. Go to Kislings. The original wing place.

Good food for a small spot. Good atmosphere and cosy. I had the fish and chips. Fries were hot, fish was crispy … Service good. I’d definitely come back.

We came into Baltimore starving from being on the road for 10 hrs … Unilocaled a place to get wings and this place boasted the most«authentic» wings in Baltimore… Being from buffalo we were obviously skeptical … For good reason. These wings were good at best. We got a bucket of buffalo hot and old bay. We were given a choice of hard cooked or normal to which we said extra crispy duh! And they offered us ranch and blue … Wtf if you are«authentic» ranch isn’t even an option. First thing the bf noticed Is that they add 18% gratuity no matter what! Really? Wow … Maybe that’s why the drink service was so slow. The wings came out in a timely manner and that’s what really matters. First glance? They were neon orange in color(why???), pretty saucy(we were told this is how most people in Baltimore like them) and were for some reason garnished with pepper flakes and whatnot. The old bay looked good … Crispy and dry rubbed … Thoughts? Buffalo hot was pretty hot … But still had flavor … Was it authentic? No … If u go to a pizza place in Buffalo and ask for wings hot … It’s franks and maybe a touch of butter … That’s it … No pepper flakes or God awful orange color. Also they either needed to cut Down on the sauce or fry them longer because they were not fried«hard» as we ordered. Shoulda went regular hot. As for the old bay … Those were great. My only regret was not getting more of those. We hear that there’s a day during the week they do 50 cent wings … We would be willing to go back to try some other flavors. So for a small old bay, a bucket of buffalo hot and a handful of drink … Along with the already added gratuity we came to a bill of 78 and change. Final say? Wings good … Not amazing but good. Authentic? No. Atmosphere? Loud but the staff was friendly. Location? Looked a bit sketch but whatever. Price? Kinda on the expensive side. Now time to look for another wing place to compare it to here in Baltimore. Hey! At least they had labatt blue!

OMfG– the Chef wings are AMAZING. Move over Kislings, momma’s got a new favorite wing spot. The Chef special wings are a wet, garlicky/parmesan(I’m guessing) sauce that you can choose to have mild to super-hot; we chose medium and they were spicy but not ‘make yur ears tingle’ hot. The skin is crispy and the meat is juicy– no sad little dried out wings here– and they had plenty of sauce in which to swirl your wings. Beers on tap are nothing to write home about, but they do pair well with the wings. The spot is a bit divey and the inside is dark, lit mostly by all of the TVs they have. I love it though– a great spot we found while coming from Station North. The Chef special wing should take part in Charm city Food Wars/Wing Wars– they are so amazing.

And so I’m back with an update. As mentioned before, the wings weren’t all that to me and I just couldn’t understand why THOSE were what everyone raved about. So I had to order them again because maybe just that day, they were a bad batch. The waiter was obviously new because she didn’t know what kind of gin they sell, and seemed like every time we asked her if they had something she had to ask someone. She finally took our drink order and then her mom, the lady behind the bar, had to come back and ask us what the drink order was again. We asked her about something on the menu, she had no idea, got someone else to come up and explain it, took our order, then 10 mins later the original girl came up like so do you want whatever she was talking about? Then she asked my friend ‘do you want penne or fettuccini noodles’ he said fettuccini and of course his food came with penne. I’m convinced everyone working there was high off something, especially the waitress! It was in fact beginning to get pretty funny because we knew that whatever we asked for we were gonna get the opposite of or she was gonna ask someone else. The drinks were still pretty strong though, so no complaints there.

When we first looked up the iBar reviews, we kind of thought that it was a techie/nerdy place. We could not have been more wrong. What stood out the most was reading about the«good food and the best wings», so we decided to take a drive there. First impression? Run! It also didn’t look open for business, but we braved it and opened the door. iBar is every bit of a typical dive bar and I believe that may be its charm. There was an assortment of business men in suits, hipsters, and thug/hood types that made it hard to pinpoint what the vibe was. But the one thing I noticed is that everyone, regardless of style and dress, were friendly and conversing together. There is a very diverse clientele which speaks volumes to good food, good drinks. When we walked in, we were given a tart greeting, that is stereotypical B’more and that sold me. Drinks: First mistake. Ok, don’t ask for a wine list. We did. The waitress told us to wait, came back with a «wine list»…meaning she ‘listed’ the wine by writing it on a cocktail napkin and telling us what they offered. We got a glass of wine, but it was undrinkable. It was time to put our big girl panties on and order like a local. I got a Pabst Blue Ribbon beer, then my next drink was a Long Island Ice Tea. WOW! That was the best and strongest LIIT I have every had! It burned so good. The waitstaff and bartenders all seem to be women, and boy they can sling a drink just like an attitude. Food: Very good and the wings did live up to the hype. The wings are amazing and are cooked in that perfect way that keeps the meat moist and the skin crispy. Old Bay Wings are a fav. We now get the wings to go whenever we are in Baltimore and on our way to travel. We munch on them in the car. Attitude: If you can’t handle sarcastic friendliness, this is not the place for you. The owners, bartenders, and waitstaff have a license to be like Carla on Cheers and they are not afraid to use it. I am sure it has developed over time working there, but I think it really hits the Baltimore Dive Bar experience factor. If I were touring Baltimore and wanted a bit of its gritty-friendly essence, this place would make it on the tour stop. I look forward to going to this place and when I wear my slacks, jacket and high heels, I fit right in. Right next to the Harley Davidson Biker, stripper, and CEO.

I’ve had the grapefruit crush and it’s the best in town. I haven’t had the food at Ibar, but I look forward to trying it.
