This library had truly been my home away from home since 2006. I love books so my opinion is a little skewed. When I started at the College of Education, I realized that I have a lot of researching to do. I found myself here because it would stay open for 24 hours. Although 24 hours is a nice perk for a graduate student, it has extensive resources. Students were able to access most of the resources from home or where ever there was internet connection. The thing that I like(which many hated) is that the library goes«underground» which means that there wasn’t any windows to distract you to the outside world. It can get a little creepy at 1:00 in the morning and you are studying on pure adrenaline. Needless to say, I am an alumni but working on my Ph.D. at another school, and I utilize this library more than I do the school’s library where I attend. I can’t say enough about the resources. If I am not mistaken, non– students and non-alumni may utilize this library. I would seriously encourage it. It has a large variety of resources, it is quiet, and it has long hours.
