This is the worst place for delivery! Don’t even try to order on the Unilocal app! Provided clear instructions to get into my gates and door of my apt complex… Took 2 hours to for the guy to get to my apt complex. the delivery guy gets into the gates then says that he can’t find me then leaves. Called the store about my order, a young girl says that she is the«manager» and she can’t reach the driver… I will say that again, she can’t reach the driver! She say that the order will get to me, I ask when — she can’t answer bc she cant reach the driver. Plan and simple, delivery sucks! This is not the first time either. I stop ordering from this place about 4 months ago bc they would always make me go to the gate bc they could not follow simple instructions when I ordered on the phone. The food is good! Just don’t order for delivery unless your willing to go to the gates of your apt!

Ordered the lamb sheekh kabab platter several times. It is better than most you get around baltimore. Always picked up so can’t vouch for delivery.

Have tried a few local Indian spots over the past few months since moving here and was hesitant to try this place after driving past it a few times. This time I didn’t want to deal with the hustle and bustle of Charles Village area, so we tried it. Pros: 1. The chicken is real, fresh, just cooked chicken. Tasted great! 2. These people really know their spices. I didn’t want the food to be overpowering but they delivered on the spice, just let them know what you want. 3. The Naan was wonderful, better than most places. 4. Everything had true flavor and it seemed to be made with quality ingredients. 5. The waiter talked us into doing the rice with one order and the naan with the other order so we didn’t have to pay for the naan extra. I asked if we could have more rice 3 times and he didn’t hesitate, quickly grabbed a fresh bowl of hot rice, and did not charge us for extra anything!(Someone getting takeout asked how much an extra side of rice was while she was picking up and they threw it in for free) 6. Got a parking spot just out front… always nice when there is easy/free parking! Negatives: 1. We were the only ones dining in… so our waiter was preparing take out and delivery orders the majority of the time(Water refills were a bit slow) 2. The bathroom could have been cleaner. 3. It was chilly, bring a sweater. Overall: I highly recommend the Chicken Saag, tiki masala was wonderful too! Next time I will definitely stick with take out, the delivery drivers seemed very busy running in and out. I will be ordering sooner than I probably should and I’ll try to talk others into getting it too. It was a surprisingly positive experience and a great change from the other local Indian spots!

Food is good, but delivery is awful! I placed my order online through their website and was told it was a 30 – 40 minute wait. It took over 2 hours and a phone call to get my food, and was told the wait was because I had ordered online. Ridiculous.

The food I’ve tried has been good, not great. Extensive menu though and I’ve heard the lunch buffet is great! Kabab Stop is more expensive and has smaller portions than nearby Belvedere Towers Café. I LOVEINDIAN food so I’m happy to have 2 solid choices nearby.

I want to eat chicken vindaloo from here everyday for the rest of my life. I really do! Yes, delivery was slightly longer than quoted. but for this! I don’t mind waiting for food like this– they even made the vindaloo extra spicy like I requested.(I would have liked to marry that chicken vindaloo, but I ate it.) (10/15/2015) Today I ordered again and this time delivery was 15 minutes sooner than what was quoted! :-)

I just love this place. The paneer tikka wrap is amazing, and I think they do chana masala better than anyone in town. I also like that they have so many paneer dishes, all of which are tasty and fresh. It’s a tiny place, but I think their food compares favorably to the larger places in town. Unlike other«holes in the wall,» I haven’t found any frozen vegetables or other shortcuts. I’m not sure why others have had problems with delivery. I’ve always ordered through Foodler, and they usually get it to me early. I’ve also found everyone who works here to be pleasant and welcoming. On the occasions when I have come to the restaurant they always remember me by my order, and they always get it right – extra spicy, extra sauce. No complaints here!

I just ordered from them using eat24. They estimated delivery of 30 – 45 minutes, and it has been nearly 2 hours and I still haven’t received the food. I have eaten here before and the food is decent but this service is ridiculous. i have called them twice and been told that the driver will be here in 10 minutes. that was 30 minutes ago and still no food. Ok food, shitty service. not worth the money.

I just finished waiting 3 ½ HOURS for my food. After the quoted delivery time of 1hr &15min, I called, then I called again. Finally I got Foodler involved. I eventually got a full refund and an apology from the owner. I then got Food. After all that time I wasn’t expecting much. The food was all fresh and flavorful. I may order again but alot earlier this time.

Really delicious Indian food. I love the chicken tikka masala and the chickpeas. Also can’t go wrong with the tandoori wings and the yummy mint sauce. My only complaint is that we have ordered delivery multiple times but the delivery drivers can never seem to find our apartment.

Friendly knowledgeable folks, they know their food. I am visiting from Oklahoma and became a regular for two days during my stay. Very tasty and fresh food. Loved it!

Yum! My wife and I recently moved from downtown to Roland Park. She always liked Café Spice but a neighbor recommended we try this place. We ordered the tandoori wings, veg samosas, chicken tikka masala, shrimp birani, and lots of naan. Everything was delicious and the owners were super nice. Highly recommend. We’ll definitely be back!

–Vegan Friendly– The food was good — I will definitely go back for more. Having said that I was extremely impressed with the guys that work here. Very nice, very knowledgeable. Nothing on the menu says«vegan» however there are several dishes they can do vegan — just ask. Below is my first experience at Kabab Stop: I was at a party one evening at a nearby business watching the O’s/Royals game and was getting hungry. Being vegan I can’t simply order a pizza or go get something at the local pub(which rarely have decent vegan options). Kabab Stop was right down the street, so I walked over with a friend to see if they had anything that might fit the bill. There was nothing on the menu that specifically said«vegan», and there was no way to know if any of the vegetarian items(marked as «vegetarian») had dairy/etc in them. And this brings up the part I hate about being vegan: having that conversation with the waiter/server at a restaurant about whether or not they can do a vegan dish, often having to double check with them to make sure they really know what vegan is, all of this while everyone else ordering is a captive audience. Anyway — when I asked if they could do a vegan option the guy behind the counter pointed out at least 5 vegetarian dishes that he could do vegan. I said something like«no milk or dairy in them, right?» and he was nodding his head and smiling knowingly before I even got the full question out of my mouth. Outstanding! My friend and I ordered and I gave him my mobile number and told him to call me when it was ready because we were going back to the party to watch the game(I had mentioned in passing where the party was). I ended up missing their call, and when I realized I had missed it a few minutes later we planned on walking back over to pick up the food at the end of the inning. A few minutes later the guy from Kabab Stop walked in the door with our food. I felt a little bad that he had walked over, so I offered him a beer and he stayed and watched a little bit of the game while we chatted. I asked him how he knew he could do certain vegetarian dishes vegan and not others, and why the others couldn’t be done vegan. He went into detail about how the dishes are made and when vegan ingredients could or couldn’t be substituted for non vegan ones. Basically — this guy who took our order and delivered our food also knew how all of it was made from scratch. And they were ALLVERYNICE. I will definitely go back here, and I’ll also keep it in mind whenever I’m across the street at the Curbe Shoppe and want something other than fries :)

First time ordering from here, had the meat samaosa, chicken chow mein and chicken saag. Everything was awesome. Fast delivery too! The Spicy is spicy. Seriously, as it should be of course.

It’s great to have an Indian/Pakistani place here! We ordered Tandori Chicken and and a lentil dish that were delicious! I’ll definitely be ordering again!

Disappointing… Grilled food like Kabobs are usually a good option if you are looking for cook to order and freshly prepared food. Not at this place. I ordered the kabob platter. There were 5 small pieces of meat on rice with one nan cut in four and a small portion of chickpeas gravy. They were all reheated in microwave. One tandoori chicken piece was half way decent. The two chicken breast kabob pieces were tough and had no taste. There was only half seekh kabob not more than 2 inches. It was also tough, chewy and without taste. The rice was stale and crusty, probably scraped from the bottom of the pot and had overwhelming scent of cloves. The nan was the only fresh item. The chick pea gravy was watery and tasted weird. I was the only person dining during the dinner hour. The host was extremely loud and I could hear him talking and laughing with the cook in Nepalese. I am never going back to this place

The tandoori wings were fantastic!!! The wings were better than my meal. I ordered the lamb saag and it was ok. There was alot of spinach and not much lamb. The lamb was slightly over cooked. I wouldn’t order the lamb saag from here again but I would definitely get the tandoori wings!

My husband and I ordered Tandoori Chicken Wings(6 Pc), Garlic Naan and two Lamb Saag’s(Lamb Spinach). My husband loved the Tandoori Chicken and the Garlic Naan but we were both disappointed with the Lamb Saag. Their were only 4 – 5 pieces of lamb in the saag while 85% consisted of the spinach mixture. We also found that the Basmati Rice and Lamb Saag contained nuts and other ingredients we were not used to tasting when ordering Lamb Saag. While my husband loved the Tandoori Chicken Wings, I am not sure if we would order here again. Everything was very flavorful but we were disappointed with the Lamb Saag.

Very average food. I asked for my food to be «spicy» on the phone and it was not at all. I order palak paneer which was ok(at least the spinach was chopped instead of being puréed). The paneer(chunks of cheese) looked like there were deep fried separately though. I also ordered Chana masala which was ver watery and no flavor. I am used to see Chana masala in a much more thicker sauce. The naan and rotti were both D I S G U S T I N G! I bet they were reheated in a microwave rather than made it fresh. They were so rubbery and tasteless that is not even funny. I will follow recommendations from other Unilocalers to go to the pizza place that sells INDIAN food by Sulgrave street. To top off this review… I think the prices for the vegetarian dishes are too high and when I asked about this, the answer was: We don’t have many veggie customers.
