I work in Baltimore so this place is close by for me to run and grab breakfast or lunch. Since I’ve been eating at Kim’s Deli Express(over the past eight years) I’ve noticed a few thing’s. You should call ahead to place an order between 12−1pm. If you don’t you will be standing in line and waiting 15 – 20 for your over priced food and also get attitude from the owner for not calling ahead. She will remind you«You know you can call ahead right?» The owner answers the phone and yells orders to one young lady who does all of the cooking. Her husband Brian got the hell out of there because she does nothing but yell at him the entire time your there! When the cooks too busy the owner will also help prep sandwiches or salads. I sadly had to stop eating there because their prices are too expensive now. I recently paid $ 8 for a salad that contained three cucumber slices, a little bit of shredded cheese, two sliced carrots and two slices of green pepper. I had enough lettuce to make three salads! If your going to break the bank on lunch go to Nina’s or order in. Nina’s on Calvert Street is also over priced, but the food is really good and well worth the cost in comparison.
