You can find some good deals here, especially with surprise points from shop your way rewards. Its a bit hard to navigate the store sometimes and it’s not quite as big as a Wal-Mart or target but they still offer some decent things.

I’m not a huge fan of Kmart, I’m always looking for the stores that they show on t.v. commercials, NONE here. this Kmart looks exactly the same from when I worked there back in high school and that was in 2000 lol.
However I am a huge fan of the shop your way program they have they always give you free money to use towards your purchase in the store plus money back that you can use on future purchases. They are trying and are one of the only stores that participates in year round layaway (if you use that service). Also they have a double coupon week every month.
If your a person who judges a book by it’s cover this book aint for you. Any bargain hunter knows you have to shop around.

I haven’t been to a Kmart in years. The one that used to be close to where I lived in Ellicott City closed down like ten years ago. And the only thing I knew about Kmart was that, according to the media, it had fallen on some hard times.
When I moved to Parkville, I decided to check it out. Whoa. Talk about a time machine. It is pretty dated inside… it looked exactly like what I remembered Kmart looked like when I was a kid. More impressively, it SMELLED like Kmart.
So, it’s a bit run down and begging for some TLC. However, if you are good, there are still deals to be found here. I bought a $ 20 Yoga Mat for $ 2.50 on clearance. It was bright pink… but hey, it was $ 2.50.
The service here, however, is definitely lacking. I stood in line for a really long time for no apparent reason apart from the cashier being very slow. I’ll probably come by once in a while if I’m bored but honestly, it’s definitely a smarter idea to stick with Target or Walmart.

The store may be turning around bu the pharmacy has me on hold for 7 minutes now and I am still waiting because I need to know if they have medicine I need. Today is Saturday June 6^th and I called at 3:29pm and right now it is 3:36pm. I feel like they either forgot I am on hold or they don’t feel like answering my questions. This is very frustrating. I have called around to all the area pharmacy’s and this is the only one that I am on hold for this long. Now it has been 8minutes. Really perhaps they should say excuse me but I must get this call after talking with a customer for this long.
Ok now answered after 9 minutes and said he is all alone at the pharmacy and it is quite busy. He is being very kind and friendly so I will have to change my review. Patience is a virtue I didn’t have earlier. Kindness helps. Thank you

I found what I was looking for with little to no problem, but my issue with this place is the customer service. The staff seems to always have the worst attitudes. No one says «Hi, how are you» and even when you try to be pleasant, they still give nasty looks and speak so low you can barely hear them. I only visit this Kmart when I absolutely have to. The checkout employees are almost begging to get cursed out with those nasty attitudes. Stay away from here unless you want your day ruined. The employees are just that rude!

This store is really turning around. The customer service has gotten better and there’s lots of clearance goodies and deals to be had. It doesn’t clear out as fast as other stores and the quality of the merchandise has really come up. Excited to see where this store goes! I bought a recliner and instead of waiting for a floor associate to help me, the store manager brought it out!

By no means am I a K-Mart shopper. but I was in the area (trying to kill time) so I figured «what the hey». Like any other large chain, WalMart or Target. K-Mart has discounted prices on certain goods but I still find them to be rather high for a rundown/beat place. I thought maybe K-Mart would have some shoes I wanted, because they typically have great shoe lines: much better than that of WalMart. but no luck. Don’t think I’ll be stopping in here anytime soon for a shopping extravaganza.
