McDonald’s

A McDonald’s is a McDonald’s is a McDonald’s. This one is located at a particularly dicey and not very attractive intersection on US 1. Sometimes I want to grab something quick in the morning and I opt for this place as its on the way out of my neighborhood. It’s a big wide parking lot, oddly laid out but easy enough to navigate. It can be difficult to leave at busy times due to the heavy traffic conditions that intersection gets, even if you’re making a right onto Hammonds Ferry to head towards 95. I’m not going to comment on the food. It’s McDonald’s. Why would I?

Stopped by this morning on my way to work.
I ordered 2 Egg McMuffins.
The first McMuffin was delicious.
The second McMuffin … well it had a green yolk. Unfortunately, I did not notice this until after I took a bite. Let’s just hope I don’t end up with food poisoning or salmonella.

This place need to get a whole new crew who has a better attitude and who care about their job or at least the customers. I went in to this location this morning @530am and there was one person working the counter. Now I know you have to get other people thier coffee and oatmeal but at least acknowledge that there is 2 other customers standing in line with me trying to order. They act like they don’t like their job and if that is the case find a better job that you will like.

Stopped in after leaving the flea market down the street and they had ONE line open with over 5+ people waiting to order. Also there was trash blowing all over the parking lot. And people blasting their car audio gear at the MAX volume everywhere.
Was in the place less then 10sec before walking right back out with my friends.

Recently renovated and looks nice. I was considering 3 stars once I finished my lunch… until I ordered dessert.
The first cashier was kind and motivated. The second, well, not so much. I asked if the still had pumpkin pies, not an odd request since today is Halloween. Anyway, she appeared half disgusted and half preoccupied with chewing on the metal bolt that ran through her tongue. Anywho, I ordered 2 sweet potato pies to go and left.
Once outside I opened my pie box and took a bite. I swear to you that pie must have been in the warmer for 2 days. It was like rubber inside and dust on the outside. I tried the 2^nd pie, same results.
The lobby was kinda clean, restrooms were the same. Not my favorite location, but I wouldn’t avoid it.

I used drive thru for breakfast this morning $ 7.50 for a meal of steak and cheese bagel and med orange juice? I don’t eat at Mc Donald’s often but I noticed prices are raising up a lil bit! But I don’t mind it where i eat my food as long as it is good, my steak egg and cheese bagel was cold, they didn’t even bother to Microwave it before handing it to me, the hash browns was hot and fresh and orange juice was hot! My entire meal only worth it 99¢ just for fresh hash browns! So I feel i got overcharged!
