The food was BOMB… The meat was really juicy and cooked perfect… I got the mixed kabob plate… my favorite was the lamb and the tahini sauce… my friends had the pasta and said it was amazing… now I’m pretty anxious to go and try the pastaaaa!

I tried ordering from Mimi ’ s twice, the first time I ordered through Grub hub, they apparently closed outside their normal business hours without listing it so grub hub had to refund my money. Not that big of a deal, sometimes things happen I guess. Today I picked up my order. There was a very polite little boy who took my order and rang me up.(Adorable) I ordered the foul and the Cajun chicken salad. The salad was pretty good, however, the foul was disgusting! It’s traditionally made with lemon and the menu states lemon, however, they used vinegar instead of lemon. You can NOT substitute one for the other. I’m not sure if they ran out of lemon or what but I would have rather been told they did not have any to serve rather than given that dreadful dish. It was inedible! Though the salad was decent and the service(the child who assisted me) was very sweet, the foul was too dreadful for me to want to order anything but a salad. I may try this restaurant again sometime in the future but for now, I’m staying away.

Been in this area for years but have not tried it since the other restaurant on this shopping complex are not that memorable. Decided to order for a sunday football: fire roasted buffalo wings(has good flavors but not firey buffalo wings love the herbs though) and the India meat pizza which has good flavors but they forgot the mango chutney on the side =( Will probably order if ever im lazy to order farther away or if i dont want a longer wait time if its a busy day. If you want your palate have some different but good tasting meal i would recommend it. The only reason i would try to avoid the place is because of the pizza crust; it tastes pre-made and sorry to say but I can make my own pizza crust better i just need their toppings and herbs.

My family and I have been going to Mimi’s for many years. The food is always consistently good. The family that runs the restaurant are incredibly nice. We’ll keep going back for some wonderful Egyptian food!

Amazing! I have ordered from here multiple times(sandwiches, pizza, salad, jalapeño poppers etc.)1 and have NEVER been disappointed. The food is amazing and the service is speedy. I’m a vegetarian and there are plenty of options for me. My husband eats meat and is never left wanting. We both love Mimi’s and the service they provide. I would recommend it to anyone! The prices are very reasonable for the portions that you get. Overall, this is one of the most consistantly yummy places around the Mt. Washington area!

I ordered delivery. The person told me 15 mins. almost 90 minutes later i get a cold dish. The guy on the phone gave me a refund and attitude to match. Don’t bother. AND it is rare i take time to write a bad review but not ok

1 star is 1 too many. This place deserves 0 stars. Everything I just ate was disgusting. Nasty gyro that came on a sub roll instead of pita bread. Chicken & lamb kabob was dry and gross. Baby liver was gross amd dried out. Pizza was nasty. And even the balady salad tasted like crap. Waste of money, and this place is seriously overpriced. Took a few bites of everything and I was. Entire family is still hungry. Gave the leftovers to the dog and she doesn’t even want to eat it. All around horrible place to eat!!!

True brick oven cooking… they bring in cords of wood to run it. Super nice guy owns the place. He learned my name after I went there a few times — even recognized my voice over the phone. I hesitate to give it 5 stars only because I think some items on the menu are a little overprice(e.g., ~$ 10 for a gyro).

Lots of choices on the menu. I’ve tried the Tandoori Chicken Pasta, and the Mediterranean Sampler, both were very good, full of great flavors. Where this place shines is in its service. We were very well attended to by various members of the family. It was charming. The price was a little high, my only complaint.

I don’t know how much better a restaurant can be when it comes to the quality of the food and the prices. One could eat here for a month and never have the same dish twice– and that is not even counting the very vast array of brick oven pizzas, which are all a specialy in and unto themselves. I don’t write many reviews but this is a place worth knowing about. Try the blackened chicken pasta… Irene Baltimore

I found an online deal through for 20% off, valid through 3÷31÷12. Went to Mimi’s tonight and the owner said he’d never heard of it, even though I showed it to him on my iPhone. He questioned me as to how I found it and how it could be true. I suggested he contact superpages and ask them as I had no idea. After much hemming and hawing, he said«he would take care of us.» I asked, «will you honor the 20% discount?» He said again, he would take care of us. With the initial push-back, it didn’t feel right. We left. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area. Hey, restaurant owners? In this economy, you can’t afford to piss off your clientele.

This tiny restaurant offers an enormous menu of brick oven pizza, pasta, sandwiches, salads and even entrees like crab stuffed flounder and grilled salmon. The options are so plentiful that there’s bound to be something for everyone but it also makes me second guess just how good every dish can be. As a result, I’ve found myself sticking to the pizza, salads and pita sandwiches. The pizza menu is almost exactly the same as what you’ll find in any other egyptian pizza place and probably just as good. I have noticed that I’ve felt the need to blot my pizza slices here more so than at other brick oven pizza places. However, the last time I did so, the host/waiter caught me doing it and told me the shiny substance wasn’t excess oil but rather extra flavor.(??) If you’re up to trying something else, their pita bread is yummy and I am a fan of the chicken pesto pita sandwich. I wouldn’t necessarily go out of my way to come here, but if you’re in the area and want a decent meal in a cozy setting, it’s worth a try.
