Work overnight shifts and need sugar and fat cus your evolved human body is in survival mode? Mr. Magoo’s has milkshakes. They also deliver, which is nice. Other than that, you’re better off getting someone from work or yourself-pre-work buying a tub of ice cream and some cookies from the corner store to make your own milkshake in the wee hours of the morning because of the following: 1. The price – near $ 26 for four milkshakes to be delivered? Only if you’re hypoglycemic, needing sugar or else you’ll pass out, and really, really desperate. 2. Whole milk only – I know. Folks say that true milkshakes are whole milk only, but there are no other choices here… I don’t need hemp or coconut milk here, but there’s not even 2% or chocolate milk. 3. Cookie dough milkshake – I had literally one sad dough chunk in my entire shake. Not worth the hype. Seriously, get overnight milkshakes only if someone is about to pass out from low blood sugar. But if they really are going to pass out, you should probably call 911 and in the meantime just spray in a packet of sugar in their mouths first.

This place has amazing milkshakes and the fact that they deliver them to you is a plus. That is the only positive thing I can say about this establishment. The food is mediocre most of the time and the service isn’t what you’d expect for the price they charge. Go for the shakes but don’t go for the food.

Ordered, pizza, it was soggy and the garlic container was leaking. I’ve had other stuff there that was good but the pizza is meh…

5 stars for the shake and mozerrela sticks 1 for the fries. Don’t order the fries! They’re just a soggy mess of mushy potato and hard cheese over the top :(. Now back to the shakes — mm. My friends and I ordered delivery($ 10 minimum) and they came within 30 minutes. I tried the cookies and cream and boy it was filling. Only complaint I would have is that the cookie bits often got stuck in the straw. Other than that it tasted amazing creamy and yummy. and it’s HUGE.(Think a XL drink). I only finished ¼ of it then got too full & threw it away. but for $ 5 that’s super worth.

Poor delivery, food OK if you want to wait two hours. The food was all right but really nothing special. If your looking for a cheap quick bite that gives you a little satisfaction then it’s OK in a pinch but I wouldn’t suggest it otherwise.

Just was yelled at by the delivery driver for 20 minutes while he complained about the location of my apartment. He took over an hour. Won’t be ordering again. ever.

They deliver milkshakes!!! Do you need to know more? Although, I had to get a side salad because the delivery minimum was $ 10, but what goes better with a milkshake?! Tons of flavors. Now please stop polluting our streets with your menus! Thank you!

Delivery took a better part of 2 hours. That wouldn’t have mattered if the food was good. It wasn’t.

Food is horrible. The bacon on the bacon cheese fries looks like the dog treat beggin strips. The caesar dressing tastes like sour honey mustard. Very disappointed.

I’ve never been to Mr. Magoo but we had milkshakes delivered and it was wonderful. We ordered 15 milkshakes and although it took a while to get them all of them were still frozen. The flavor selection was impressive. Would recommend for milkshakes especially if you can’t leave work to get them.

i cannot believe that there are ZERO Unilocal reviews for magoo’s! this is a staple of overnight shifts at bayview, and is the only place i know that delivers ice cream(sundaes, scoops, and our fave, milkshakes, which are HUGE and easily split among two people). re: milkshakes, there are at least 25 flavors and they use hershey’s ice cream. they are also willing to mix flavors(i.e. chocolate peanut butter, which i’ve had before). every milkshake i have had from here has been delicious, and i have had MANY. i have never been inside the physical mr. magoo’s, but they’re always friendly when they answer the phone and delivery is pretty speedy. they also deliver pretty far away(i heard union memorial staff also love magoo’s) i also personally haven’t had food from there before but it’s the regular greasy spoon fare(mozzarella sticks, subs, sandwiches, maybe pizza? i had no idea that they had that). get a milkshake from here. you will not be disappointed.
