Food was delicious, got the crab wontons, beef and broccoli, and orange chicken. They give good portion sizes too. Would be five stars but we ordered fried rice but they delivered Lo mein instead.

The menu here is ridiculous. Lol… They have anything your little heart would desire. The one problem I always have with a Chinese carryout is the meat being either under cooked or over cooked but not here hunni… I went with the beef broccoli and rice. The beef was extremely tender and the rice was cooked to perfection. I like that they have a bin where they keep the condiments. I get so tired of asking for more sauce to only get 2 extra packs… This place is alright with me hunni!!!

This was better than expected. We got a General Tso combination for two and it came with fried rice, egg roll, and soup. All were tasty and very filling. We will return.

Very good Chinese food that is well cooked and well flavored. They have an extensive menu. I ordered their noodle soup, vegetable lo mein, Hunan chicken, Szechuan chicken, white rice and brown rice for carry out. The place is in a convenient location with Giant, Dunkin Donuts, Hair Cuttery, etc. The food was packaged in separate containers, which prevented mushing together, and small sizes were pretty substantial too. The soup was 2 bucks, need I say more? Yes, give this place a try.

Occasionally good in a pinch, this is one of the better takeout places around for quality, but still isn’t great food. The chicken with broccoli is pretty good and they’re definitely good at making things spicy if you ask. If they hadn’t repeatedly screwed up orders for us, they’d definitely get an extra star for this review. However, we’ve gotten the wrong kind of meat in dumplings a few times(pork instead of chicken, and twice pork instead of vegetable), and that’s rather serious when you’re feeding vegetarians. And it also isn’t such a complicated or special order that they should be making an error on — it’s just a few different menu items. They’ve also twice sent chicken instead of shrimp General Tso’s, though charged me for shrimp. Not cool, and a rather large percentage difference in price. They also routinely send white rice instead of brown rice when we ask for brown, but that’s kinda something that I expect from inexpensive delivery. Yes, the delivery is fast, but if it’s the wrong food, is fast the important factor?

I ordered shrimp egg foo young ITWASAWFUL. The shrimp egg foo young was full of onions about 3 shrimp. TASTELESS. I also ordered crab meat wontons, The wontons had no filling in them. I looked for the crab meat NONE.

I came to Baltimore about 10 years ago and this restaurant was recommended by a friend as serving the best Chinese food in the area. After getting some food from here, I agreed. Whenever I had Chinese, which was a couple times a month until I moved away a few years ago, I would get delivery from New China. I have never had any complaints about the food or service. Delivery was usually under 30 minutes and the food was always hot. I especially like the appetizers(the fried pork dumplings, spare ribs, and egg roll are my favorite) as well as the hot and sour soup. The entrees are good and they have a large enough selection to keep me from getting bored with the menu. When I come back to visit in Baltimore, I make sure to stop at New China for a meal.

This is your basic Chinese take out place. The prices are average. But in my home area this place is the best. The food is consistently good and they will deliver to my home which is awesome.

FOODPOISONING. I ordered food here for the first time about a week ago. I was violently ill all night! Be careful! Won’t be ordering from here again.

Typical chinese takeout. One of the best in the area. I love chinese takeout because its fast and cheap. I’ve ordered all my takeout from New China for the past 2 years and the service and quality never disappoints me. I think the fact that I can order online is definitely a plus! I’m asian and if you see an asian ordering from this takeout, you know that’s a good sign!

They probably have the best hot and sour soup, since I have tried many of the Chinese restaurants. I really think they are doing a great job, besides the fact it is the small fast food like restaurant, but they are doing a great job. My recommendation is hot and sour soup, spring rolls, shrimp with lobster sauce, dumplings, and lemon chicken. The price is reasonable.

Food here is consistently good. Just don’t consider this as one of your fast food joints. Come here to simply enjoy the cooking of chefs cooking an international food. I vouch for the chicken and broccoli, the shrimp lo main, and the vegetable egg foo young. :) Awesome prices as well.

Hmmm. This place is not nearly as bad as some of the past reviews claim it to be. On the contrary, I rather thought the food pretty good compared to some of the other Chinese takeout joints around the city — it’s certainly better than Mamma Cucina’s next door for food options. LoML and I both had General Tso’s, which is your standard Americanized Chinese choice most of the time. Pretty crispy chicken, sweet but not overpowering sauce. Good stuff for a strip mall place. We ate in the restaurant, which may make a difference. They seemed shocked that we had asked — I don’t think many people choose to eat there. Prices were a bit on the high side for this type of food, but it wasn’t wallet gouging. We’d probably come again simply because there’s so little options in this particular strip mall and it’s handy just before going shopping over at the Giant. Not bad. Tip for Diabetics: As with any other Chinese place, you have to know what will and won’t hurt you as far as your BG levels go. I had the General Tso’s here, which is usually a bad choice for me personally, but it didn’t seem to do much to me(at least on the day I visited). I would just pick what works for you — most Americanized Chinese places are more or less the same unless you’re sensitive to MSG. They don’t seem to have a lot here, but who knows. Disclaimer: I’m not a doctor. YMMV. Seek medical advice and tailor my review to your situation. I simply provide opinion.

Beware the popular dishes. New China II has started pre-cooking and then reheating some of their food. One time I stopped in to order Orange Chicken and somehow they got it to me without ever firing up the stove. Then I ordered it delivery and it came cold. :( It’s good when it’s fresh. Might I recommend insisting they make it when you order it?

You can’t expect from Chinese restaurants now-a-days. This place is within walking distance of my apartment which is great! The prices are decent and service is quick and friendly. I got the fried rice and sesame chicken. To my suprise the sesame chicken was actuallly chicken! I’ve had sesame chicken plenty of other times where it was just breading and sauce, but this was legit. It’s chinese food… in the city so don’t get your hopes that high. Overall I’ll definitley go back again.

One of the best Chinese carry out places in the area. One of the cleanest too. The people are always friendly and the delivery is always fast. I live 2.63 miles away and the last delivery took exactly 20 minutes. The menu is standard. They actually put fresh veggies in your fried rice here. I won’t begin to tell you how many Chinese food places that either use frozen veggies or overcook your veggies. One caveat: don’t get too comfortable once you order. The delivery person will most likely call you and expect you to come out to the car to receive your food. This seems to be a Baltimore delivery thing.(minus 1 star).

This is just a typical Chinese carry out place. The interior is pretty dull and barren. However, the food here is pretty decent… Probably one of the better Chinese places in its immediate area. General Tso’s Chicken is pretty standard here. The portions are plentiful. Unless you are a hearty eater, a dinner portion should be enough for two people or two meals(though you may want to order a little extra rice…). It is sweet(though not cloyingly sweet) and has a hint of spiciness at the end. The chicken is well-cooked and always moist. The breeding is kind of soggy if you carry out and eat elsewhere… but if you decide to eat in the carryout at one of the few tables inside, it tends to be a little crunchier. Price is reasonable here. Overall, not bad. If I am in the area and craving carry Chinese… I usually end up here.
