This is one of my favorite cafes in Baltimore. It’s small, but that just adds to the community feel of the place. I’ve come here to work on my laptop and for their once-a-month Sunsets event, both positive experiences. They play the best music here which is great but there is a downside to that– if you really need to concentrate on work, you might need to bring headphones. I was busy trying to take notes so I could copy their playlist.

Extremely small place, but the coffee and staff are great! I would recommend it for a nice beverage or snack!

I’ve only been here once for a study session and I really enjoyed it! The coffee is priced like other coffee shops in the area 1.5−2 $ for a cup. What sets nubohemia apart is the ambience and location. It is slightly hidden, and is halfway underground on Biddle street. Very cozy and well lit inside, with some bohemian music in the background. There are also lots of stools and little sofas to make studying comfortable. Free wifi as well, which is a must. This might just be my new study spot!

I walk by this shop a few times a week, but my timing always seems off with their hours! So when I was out Saturday morning and saw the ‘Open’ sign on, I immediately crossed the street and went in. I loved the feel of the location when walking in; lots to look at. I only ordered a black coffee, but it was definitely fresh and I was happy! I took a flyer to pass to a friend and will keep my eyes open for more event they have there. It also looks like a great place to work from: D

My boyfriend’s brother recommended this place and I’m so happy he did! It’s tucked away a little, but the inside is bright and colorful and inspiring. Art everywhere, vinyls for sale, and you could even play them as they had a set up for customers to play vinyl over the system. The lady who was working me greeted me with such genuine enthusiasm! It was awesome. She told me a little about the place and how it supports local artists. I ordered an iced latte with almond milk(omg a place that carries almond milk!!! At no extra charge!!! Not sure if she just offered it to me or if they really do charge for it. Either way-thank you for carrying it!) while she made my latte I looked around at the beautiful art and music. Could easily a spend a day there. I loved the song so much that was playing I shazamed it haha. My latte was delicious and huge and not like 80% ice either. It was unsweetened and perfect. They also let you put in your own pumps of syrup if you want. I am from out of town otherwise I would basically live here. What a cool local place with delicious coffee!

This place is spotless ! I’m so proud of Jay and his staff. Free wifi, great small place to spend personal time, catch up on work or anything else. I would and will book my next small event here. The coffee I had was so fresh! The table with all the fixings was perfect’ wow! That’s all I have to say. Oh check the community board for cool events and other information. I will eat more lol when I get more money lol, today was for a quick coffee run.

Awesome vibe. If you are looking for good ambience stop by here. Tons of art books and magazines to read and good music playing. I had a chocolate banana milkshake like drink that was very delicious. The owner is extremely nice and the prices are fair. Great place to meet up with friends after lunch or to just relax. This place also hosts events like live comedy and little music shows. The owner seems open to working with anyone so if you are a local musician you should definitely check it out.
