Optima Moving

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I can’t stress that enough. I recently moved to another state and used them and I regret it tremendously. I was way overcharged and when I called to discuss why, the manager on site, named Yuriy, either speaks over me and won’t let me say my concerns or he just flat out hangs up on me and won’t return my calls or emails. The only thing he says is they have the right to charge for additionally packing, if needed. Every single item being moved was packed in a box and secured before the movers arrived. According to them, though, if they feel it needs more packaging, they go ahead without your consent and add additional cardboard or tape to items, when it is not needed to begin with, and then charge you an arm and a leg for it. The movers didn’t pack a single item for me yet said they needed to add more tape and said they went through 15 rolls of additional tape. I only had 30 boxes total. This matter still isn’t resolved since no one will return my calls. Additionally, their movers don’t show up on time. Originally, my move was scheduled for 8 am, in the days leading up to my move, they pushed it back to 11 am, and on the day of my move, they didn’t show up until 1 pm. Of course, they won’t just take responsibility for being late, they continually blame everything on some else. My best suggestion is find someone else to help you move.
