I went to Penn Optical to get some glasses through the health insurance I have. The doctor wrote the prescription and I been waiting now almost a month for my glasses. The lady in charge said a week but then I went in person she said 15 – 20 days. I did not want the tint on it so I wanted my refund back they only give store credit what am I going to by there for $ 20.00. They were uptight and not very friendly with the service. I think they should give me free tint and I once I get the glasses I ordered I am going elsewhere to get glasses that are more friendly. The assistant had an attitude problem and well they should not do that to their customers.

This is the worst for customer service. THEWORST!!! I’ve gone here in the past and the service was not terrible but not great but at least I was able to get a relatively quick appointment and someone to answer the phone. That was two years ago-last year I went to Peeper’s which was entirely too high. I decided to go back to Penn Optical for affordability and location and haven’t been able to get a person on the phone at all to make an appointment. I have tried periodically since early March-this is late April and the phone just rings. At this point, i’m just humoring myself to see if/when someone actually answers the phone because I will not be giving them my business again if this is how they conduct business. Maybe whomever owns it gets enough business that they afford to lose customers.

Good selection of glasses … Service is a nightmare. They only have one person working to help customers and answer the phone every time I’ve gone in. It takes forever! All the glasses are locked up so you can’t try them on until it’s your turn.
