So happy to find Preferred Restoration! As a landlord it is very important to find services that not only deliver what they say but quickly and for a great price. Andre was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. I always have 1000 questions and he was always patient and professional. We had carpet replacement and also the floor hero hardwood restoration service. Everything was perfect and Andre went above and beyond my expectations to complete the job. Will definitely use again.

The employees that come to your home are friendly and professional. Unfortunately, the rules the company made up about what the Groupon for 4 rooms can be used for was ridiculous. In short, they wouldn’t use the 4 room Groupon for an area rug, a hallway or a couch. I even tried to use 2 of the rooms just for one couch. Most worthless Groupon ever.

Preferred Restoration is SCAM! The last post was being very nice in her description of their service. I too had a Groupon for their service. They showed up 2.5 hours late, without any apologies. They then tried to charge an additional $ 10 to bring their equipment upstairs and a $ 20 admin fee. Upon speaking with Andre, the owner, he did not seem to be slightest concerned about my time that was wasted, only stated that I would need to pay extra fees or would not receive the service I HADALREADYPAIDFORTHROUGHGROUPON. Needless to say his customer service is severely lacking and I did not pay the additional $ or recieve service. GROUPON refunded my $ without any hassel, which tells me I’m not the only one that complained about this company! BUYERBEWARE!!!

Preferred Restoration serves the Baltimore Washington Metro area. I was unable to locate an exact address for the company, but I had a Groupon for carpet cleaning, so I thought I’d give it a shot. I also wanted my couch and loveseat cleaned as well. Phone experience was courteous, though it did take a second call to get a callback. When the three cleaners arrived, they did not take their shoes off, which disturbed me a little. They walked in and out of my house without removing their shoes throughout and AFTER the cleaning, which I found most upsetting. They did clean my upholstery, but they did not remove the cushions to do so, just cleaned the surface areas that were visible. I also requested a deep clean of my most trafficked areas, but I didn’t feel that they worked that much longer on that specific area(which cost an extra $ 25) than they did on any other area. It did take about two days for my carpets and upholstery to dry fully. The men left, and then I realized that they did not apply the Scotchguard to the couch or loveseat, so I called, and they came right back to do the service. I have used Chem Dry in the past and had a more pleasant experience with them. Even though they were pricier, they were much more careful to detail and removed their shoes at any time they were in the house. I believe this is a new business from talking to the gentlemen, so I’m sure they just have a few kinks to iron out, but with more experience, hopefully their service will improve.
