The service was outstanding and the prices were good. Other than that it was a no for me. I’m from Chicago and I’ve lived in other cities with amazing sushi and this just isn’t that caliber in my opinion. The cuts aren’t the best and the freshness and quality wasn’t what I was used to.

Good brunch and lunch menus, bottomless ginger mimosas and fun atmosphere! Made reservation through Open Table but not necessary on. Sunday afternoon. Miso soup had good flavor, Asian Chicken Salad was crunchy and fresh! Spicy tuna roll was a good addition. Service was great. Melissa was a good server! Even found $ 5 parking in S. Caroline Street!

RA is hands down my favorite sushi spot in town. They have a great lunchtime special and offer many promotions throughout the week. I recommend getting the margarita to start(trust me on this one) and the spicy edamame. Their sushi tastes fresh and amazing. I’ve never had a bad meal. Sign up for their emails because there are specials all the time!

My favorite sushi place in town. I love the Viva Las Vegas rolls. And there fish tacos which are no longer on the menu. Anyways happy hour is the best time to go for me. Overall great place to each in and out. Great service each time.

Very fresh and out of the box sushi. Each bite was refreshing. Staff is very friendly. They have a large allergy menu and are very accommodating. I would go back if I lived there!

I came here to redeem my half birthday gift certificate for $ 20. Sadly I could not use the certificate on happy hour food. Something has changed since the last time I was here, the server I had was very rude and inattentive. One couple sitting at a table next to mine even noticed how rude she was. I’m not sure how often I will return based on this experience.

Stopped here for late night eats with my daughters at 10PM on a Friday. RA was full of activity and an awesome choice! We had reservations, so seating was not a problem.(Which is highly recommend! Services is pretty fast but this is a place where patrons linger so tables don’t open up fast) Normally I’m not a huge fan of chain sushi or Asian restaurants, but RA definitely delivered yummy goodness! We ordered a Seaweed Salad, the Crunchy Shrimp Tempura Roll, a California Roll, a Spicy Tuna Roll, and the Viva Las Vega Roll… YUM!!! We also tried the RA’kin Shrimp Tacos. One word… DAAAMMMMMN!!! An order consists of 3 little Tacos made with tempura shrimp, coleslaw and guacamole topped with ginger teriyaki sauce and red bell pepper, served in a crispy gyoza taco shell. We could have eaten a dozen. For reals!!!

Stopped in for lunch. Took a minute or two to get seated. Super cute and modern décor. Large sushi bar area. Friendly waitress. Ordered the vegetable Maki made with avocado, asparagus, lettuce, rice and rice paper. These things were huge. I wished they made them smaller so I didn’t look like a glutton trying to stuff it in my face. Ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box. Lots of food. Dumpling good. Spring roll good. Coleslaw that it sat upon was AMAZING. I can’t describe the dressing but I could have ate a whole bowl or replaced the salad which came with a super tangy orangey dressing. Rice was a little dry… crunchy at times. The chicken itself was bland but they spooned a teriyaki sauce that tasted store bought. I would give them another chance but I have definitely had better.

So any good foodie or locavore probably tries to avoid chains at all costs. However, I stand in defense of this one! RA is consistent if nothing else. They have great service and the sushi, while not authentic by any means, is prepared well and delicious at every location I’ve visited(just two: Baltimore and Atlanta). They have happy hour everyday(yep even Sunday) which is always a bonus for any restaurant. If you join their email list they send coupons and free birthday food. Late night happy hour is my favorite. If you want well priced sushi at 11pm on a Saturday or 3pm on a Tuesday hit ‘em up!

Went to RA after spending the night around the harbor for the Light City festival. The restaurant was decently full for 11pm on a Thursday. Cool vibe, upbeat music. Definitely a hip little sushi place. Our server was Heather. She was attentive, and not overly attentive. Came at the right moments when we needed to order and get drink refills. The general manager also came over to make sure everything was good. The sushi rolls were pretty good. By the far the largest rolls I’ve eaten. We had the Viva Las Vegas roll, Shrimp Tempura roll, the ribs, and pot stickers. The ribs could have been a bit more flavorful. The shrimp tempura was a little different than traditional rolls, with the addition of crab meat. Overall, pretty good. The late night happy hour was extensive and a good deal. If you’re in Fells Point and you’re feeling fishy, give this place a try.

Not somewhere is go for actual sushi, especially outside of happy hour. The ambience is hip and fun. The sushi is very Americanized. I did enjoy their tuna tatiki, and chips and salsa(basically tuna tartare). Their viva Las Vegas roll isn’t really worth it but I guess a cool concept.

We choose Ra Sushi as a place to meet with friends and celebrate our love this Valentines Day weekend. I am signed up to their email newsletter so I was aware of their deal for dinner for 2 for 35 $ ! Street Parking is not ample so had to valet for $ 9.We made reservations via Open Table so we were seated as soon as all of our party arrived. The décor and lighting gave RA Sushi such a cool vibe! We ordered drinks and took the opportunity to try their featured cocktail of the month called Shiso Naughty. If you like vodka cocktails with some sweetness, I think you will enjoy this drink. For $ 6 its worth trying out! We all enjoyed our food(I loved the garlic yellowtail sashimi and the Viva Las Vegas Roll) but one guest sent their salad back as the chicken on it was too salty. The wait staff was attentive, helpful and made our dining experience a great one!

This is probably one of my favorite sushi restaurants in Baltimore. I’m a frequent customer here, and have always left satisfied! EVERYTIME I come here, I always have to get the Viva Las Vegas Roll. One of their very famous specialty rolls. I always loved their chili yellowtail ponzu rolls for their appetizer and always crave it when I’m out of town. Their sushi is always fresh and you can always find good deals on any given day whether it’s their happy hour or day by day specials. You get the most bang for your buck if you come for happy hour. However, I do have to say their service is very unpredictable. Their waiters change a lot and some waiters are very good at what they do and some are just plain horrible! One time our waiter went missing for a good 30 minutes with our food nowhere in sight. I could see the other waiters were out looking for him! But the manager came out to apologize and delivered our food. When our waiter finally found his way back to us, he did not apologize but went ahead with his day. The only reason why I’m still giving 5 stars is because this only happened once out of all the splendid experiences I had here. Also the food is always consistent and satisfying!

Ra is always a happening place when I come. Fresh ingredients and always tasty sushi. Happy Hour is reasonably price with unique cocktails and affordable food. I had the lobster shrimp roll with the pesto sauce. delicious! The saki sangria is great also, must visit place when you’re in Baltimore.

I went here on Saturday with my boyfriend. After having a few less than stellar sushi experiences at various places, we decided to take a break from sushi for a few months and finally decided to try sushi again at RA. First of all, make reservations! We arrived on Saturday evening around 645pm with a 7pm reservation. We were sat right away due to the reservation, but it was pretty crowded and got a little more crowded as the evening went on. Since we arrived a few minutes before 7, we were there just in time for happy hour! I ordered the traditional emperors margarita and my boyfriend ordered the early times Kentucky whiskey. He seemed to enjoy his whiskey and my margarita was pretty good, but a little bit on the strong side. For our appetizer, we ordered the fried calamari. The calamari was okay… it was a little undercooked but could have been worse — however, it could’ve been a lot better if it were fried for just a few more minutes. For our meal, we ordered the gojira roll, tootsy maki roll, and zonie roll. All the rolls were great and tasted fresh! Our server was pretty good too! She was very good about checking in on us periodically and was pretty quick with our food and drinks. The environment was nice. I forgot that it gets a little loud here in the evening due to the music, so I would probably refrain from bringing children during the evening. I also like how it’s pretty dark inside the restaurant and the decorations are really nice. Overall, I had a good experience at RA and it was a great place to go to after not having sushi for a few months! I would definitely love to go back here sometime — especially for the happy hour!

Pretty Sweet Happy Hour deals. Ordered the Rainbow Roll and Vegas Roll, both of which were pretty spot on. The fried lotus root garnish on the vegas roll added a nice crunchy texture to this roll. Service was also pretty sweet. Came for dinner with a friend and got seated promptly, with a real nice waitress. Will definitely be coming back.

I’ve been to Ra Sushi a few times. I’ve only been here with a large group of people. Definitely not the kinda place I’d eat at for a quiet dinner. Some of the times I’ve been here was during happy hour, while others was later in the evenings… THEGOOD. –sushi tasted fresh –rolls were plated nicely –pretty good variety of rolls… vegas roll is pretty good –happy hour specials are good –seems clean inside –bathroom is clean THEBAD… –parking can be a pain depending on when you go –On Friday and Saturday nights it gets very noisy with people all over the place… very loud and awful music –service could be much better –waiting area is too small for the long wait they can be on… gets crammed with people on top of you –very Americanized sushi, more than most in my opinion Overall, Ra Sushi isn’t a bad place, but it is just not high on my list. There are much better sushi restaurants that will offer competitive prices with more variety and a relaxed atmosphere. If you were to dine at Ra and don’t like the loud and noisy crowd scene I’d suggest going here for a lunch or dinner during the the work week.

Hi had a really good time here last week. I went to dinner with my sister and we wanted to sit outside but the wait was three hours. Smh. We sat at the bar area instead which was still nice. The restaurant was very busy and crowded. Our server was Ray ! He was great very attentive and could juggle the multiple tables amazingly. The support staff was also very good. Now the food: I got the skewers they were AMAZING!!! The best I’ve had. Very fresh and tender meat. I also got the veggie rolls which were served with the restaurants house mustard and those wee also good. For drinks I got the $ 6 dollar strawberry mojito it was so good ! So is the frozen bellani! It’s huge and will excite your taste buds. Overall I will be coming back ! :) zen, young, fresh atmosphere!

Absolutely my Favorite place to have Sushi… Last night was Awesome. Raymond our Server Was The Man. He made this experience memorable. Ask for Raymond he worked that Bar area and made Great suggestions for drinks and food. #GreatService And The Food… The rolls are very creative and the combinations of ingredients are very tasty. I can honestly say others try and don’t come close to achieving the success of A Great Roll. My favorite and never Fail is the Ra ckin Roll. Smh I LoVe it! 2nd fav Viva Las Vegas… Very Sexy Looking and Sexy tasting. I also enjoy the Miso Soup not so much a big deal for most but I think it taste very good. It is my starter every time I visit.

The service and food here was great. I ordered a Umami Punch which was really good!(This drink is intended to be for two people). I ordered the Lobster Salmon Roll, the Spicy Tuna Roll, and the Tootsi Maki… my favorite of the three was the Lobster Roll, but they were all good. For dessert I ordered the Sweet Mochi Trio which came in mango, strawberry, and vanilla flavors… All of them were yummy! This was the first time I came to the Maryland location, but I have been to the Kansas location a few times. I’ll definitely visit this location again.
