Royal Farms

So, Royal Farms finally decided to muscle their way in to Sheetz country. And not only that but are goin up against the growing Wawa presence. High’s and 7 – 11 continue to regain lost ground. So, can the new comer get a break with chicken and gas in Frederick County?
I got to admit for a combini, they got some pretty damn good fried chicken. It can get a little pricy but it is worth it.
Today I stopped by the newly opened gas n gulp off 355 for a three price chicken strip lunch which came with potato wedges and a roll.
Sadly I asked for honey mustard and got sweet and sour sauce which was promptly tossed. Luckily I ordered some jalapeño cheddar for the fledged but they gave me so much that I just dipped the chicken in it.
Chicken tastes pretty fresh and he strips were pretty big. Not sure I’ll drive from Lewsitown to Urbana regularly for chicken but it wasn’t a wasted trip to try them out. Maybe they can take in Sheetz, only time will tell.
