Overall I’m satisfied with the complex/unit(loft). I’m not ecstatic over it, but it’s fine for what it’s worth. My biggest con: THENOISE, OMG. Ambulance sirens every 30 minutes. There is a giant helicopter pad right next door in which the chopper takes off like once an hour all day and even at 2−3am. Blaring Train noise late into the night. It’s been 6 months and this has been the issue each day. So if you’re looking for quiet, this is probably not the place for you. The unit itself is great, spacious and people always compliment my high ceilings and large windows. No qualms there

This is a great place to live if you’re looking for an affordable apartment in downtown Baltimore/Ridgley’s Delight area. The building is fairly quiet(mostly medical students) and is a quick walk to the Charm City Circulator, various restaurants/bars, the baseball & football stadiums, the Inner Harbor, and a few Zipcar locations. They offer one-bedrooms, one-bedroom lofts, and two-bedrooms. The employees here is so friendly, from the valet to the building maintenance worker to the apartment managers. Pros: fitness center in building, valet parking at an extra charge(and they also handle all of your packages), washer/dryer in unit, exposed brick walls, high ceilings, accessible rooftop deck, elevators, storage units, trash chute on every floor, recycling picked up at building, electronic building access system(for security). Con: No dogs allowed in the building(even though cats are allowed).

I have lived on the 3rd floor of the Sail Cloth Factory for about 9 months and have loved it so far! I chose this building primarily because they offer 1 bedroom apartments students can afford(which is surprisingly hard to find in the area) and it is very close to the University of Maryland Medical Center. Although there are a fair amount of sirens and helicopters due to the close proximity to the hospital, this is a problem throughout downtown Baltimore and I think the less than 5 minute walk to class or the hospital more than makes it worth it. The building is always kept very clean and quiet and the staff is very helpful and friendly! Many of my friends in the area have had problems of getting packages stolen off their doorstep which is not a problem here because of the valet service that will hold all deliveries for you. The parking costs extra but the cars are kept secured in a gated garage with the valets and there is some free guest parking available. Other pros: nice rooftop deck, large windows that let in a lot of light, washer and dryer in unit, secured access to building, awesome staff Overall, I am very happy with my decision to move to the Sail Cloth Factory. I would recommend 100%!
