Can you feel sorry for a chain department store?
The workers here are friendly and helpful, and the tool and home improvement department is thorough and well-​stocked. Nevertheless, there is a ton of empty space where clothes, appliances and other products should have stood throughout the small department store, and the mood was just… grim.

Poor service
My daughter decided she wanted to make a payment on my credit card with Sears. Happy Happy Joy Joy… right wrong, we go to this location to make payment and was told no you have to call customer service its a problem the register is not taking your payment there is a problem with your card. After looking at each other and then to the cashier a manager came by she too says you have to call customer service but she dials the number. While talking with customer service he states there is nothing wrong with my card and you should be able to make a payment, I relay the message to the manager, Now when she swipes my card is readable and able to take a payment, I’m still on phone with customer service he continues to apologize for the service I receive and to let me know it see payment pending.
Not sure about that location it is strange when a place cant that a payment. When it something my daughter to regular with her own Sear credit card.

This Sears, located as an anchor store in Security Square Mall, was actually kind of small; I was very surprised. They had a great clothing selection, but the appliances area was actually rather threadbare. I don’t know if they were trying to get rid of clearance televisions or what, but there was hardly anything to choose from in stock; I was rather disappointed. I never did get what I came for (an 18-​inch dishwasher); the associate said that it was a special-​order item, so I actually had to purchase it online. I was a little put off by that — if I had known that, I wouldn’t have bothered to drive all the way out there.
The associates were very pleasant, however, so that balanced out the disappointment. And I did end up purchasing a few things for my boyfriend, so it wasn’t totally a wasted trip. However, be aware that the larger ticket items in this location just… may not be there. Call ahead or order it online and have it sent for pickup.
