(04/26/2013) OK, so it’s a guy named Silky setting up shop in the back of a bar(yeah, food safety-wise, it’s a little sketchy), but he’s shucking raw oysters and clams, got homemade codfish cakes(more fish than your usual Baltimore coddie, but still with the same accoutrments, yellow mustard and Saltines) and his wife, «Big Momma» makes the Deviled Eggs(mayo and a little sweet pickle relish). These oysters were very large, plump, mild, somewhat metallic, from Chincoteague, and probably farm-raised. It’s hard to make a start these days, hope this works out if Liam’s ever opens it’s kitchen.
