It’s hard for me to go anywhere else in the NE market anymore because this is all that I want. You can pile on the food although with my appetite sometimes my plate ends up being closer to $ 10 than $ 5 – 6 like other people have commented. As this place has gotten more popular, they seem to have expanded their menu so there are more veggie options to heap onto your plate! And the pancake is awesome, especially if you get there when they’re fresh. Friendly people too!

My new favorite Korean spot in… maybe all of NE bmore. Menu NEVER changes. Lots of veggies, noodles, kimbap, kimchi, and meats. Friendly, cheap, and really delicious. Eat Korean food like a king for less than $ 10!

Simple yet tasty food. I take early lunch when I want their food because they start around 11:30 am and sell out around 2 pm. I like the buffet style so you get what you want and how much you want and pay by the pound at $ 5.99/lb, which is very reasonable. The picture I posted weighed a little less than a pound and cost $ 5.46 or so. I like the flexibility of being able to get both noodles and rice. Every other Asian place I have been to gives you one or the other. They have hard boiled eggs, yay! The potato pancake, grilled chicken, and sushi(California role) were all tasty. The spicy cabbage was spicy, they are not kidding with the names. The place is easy to miss and a bit hidden partly due to the dimly lit sign board. Staff is nice and welcoming. I went back and what? They changed up the menu and had even better items. I like this element of surprise.

This place offers quality food. It’s not your standard Asian takeout place. There’s a lot of authentic Korean dishes offered here, such as chap chae, ddokbokki, spicy pork, kimchi, soy bean sprouts, etc. I always get the chap chae, which is Korean sweet potato noodles with vegetables. The chicken is grilled fresh everyday and the spicy pork is cooked and flavored well. Just grab a container, fill it up with whatever you want, and she charges by the pound. I’m never disappointed with the food here — everything is fresh and nothing is deep fried. I know she also offers lunch catering if anyone is interested. If you are ever near the Hopkins med campus, definitely check this place out. She’s located in Northeast Market in the very back.
