They need better food selection, everyday they serve same thing on Hot bar or every other day. Slow service and employees can be rude.

So, I come in and there is only one cashier. Ok it was a little slow to be a rainy day. I had a few people in front of me so I thought that I would be in and out quickly. I was wrong. I ordered a bacon platter with a sausage and a belgian waffle. The service was friendly but, I was very upset because I came over way before the start of my working hours only to make it back to my desk at the same time I was to sign in. All this happend because the waffle iron was not plugged up. Really! Who does not plug in the waffle iron for breakfast and you have been open for a minute or so. I didn’t give them a comlplete thumbs down because the food was actually good. Maybe they should have had more than one person taking orders and cooking this time of morning.

(08/20/2012) You’re stuck at the State Office Complex at Eutaw and Preston waiting for the Comptroller at the tax office or getting your license at DLLR and starving, what are you to do? There is a cafeteria there, but it’s pretty lame and seeks to appeal to the lowest common denominator. Service is ridiculously slooooooowwww, like MVA at noon on a Friday slow. Perhaps lowest bid contract is not exactly where you want to go when talking about quality of food and service. Of note, the Baltimore City Health Department has actually shut the cafeteria down twice in the last 3 years for health code/food safety violations. Here’s a link to the BCHD website showing the last closing on 6÷8÷2012, listing is under«State Center Café»: . It’s plusses are location and low prices.
