I would never recommend TechLab to anyone. I dropped off 24×5 film sheets for processing and when I went to pick the negatives up 2 weeks later, they were still not developed. The manager told me they no longer develop 4×5 film, but why couldn’t they have told me this when I was dropping off or why couldn’t they have picked up the phone associated with my order to let me know they couldn’t develop them? Poor customer service.

These guy’s ROCKED a 60th birthday present for my mother-in-law. We wanted to frame an old picture of her with her family when her kids were young/fetuses but we have no artistic eye or photo editing skills. They were so helpful in making it a super classy gift. They helped pick out a frame and then retouched the photo and made it black and white. They even rushed the order and had it ready for us the next morning right when they opened so we could give it to her that day. I was so impressed with the service and the quality.

Not friendly or helpful service in my experience. Clearly interested in helping customers that only fit the stores ideal projects. Photo reprint turned out fine. There are other print shops in north Baltimore area.

Please refer to my first review… My second set of Canadian passport photos were accepted! Thanks, definitely the place to go to for international passport pics in the Baltimore area.

I took 600 slides to TechLab to have scanned. I was real excited because they were having 20% moving sale. I had been taking my slides all the way over the Woodbridge VA, Photo-60; and was tired of the drive. The picture quality is great. However, when I went to copy the slides to y PC and return them to their binder sleeves, I found they they were out of order AND many of them had been scanned in reverse! It seemed that whoever was scanning them got interrupted to do something else and hurriedly shoved them back in the box out-of-order. They certainly did not care about that aspect of the service which is very important to me because I put them back in their sleeves in order. Photo-60 always returned them in order and scanned in the correct sequence. I am very disappointed.

Great job photo processing my old film. They have a really nice store front and offer a wide range of photography printing services.(Canvas, Phone Case, Etc.)

What a great place. I had four photos restored and they did a beautiful job. The staff is outstanding, very kind and helpful. And a added bonus they are located right across the street from the Belvedere Market. I recommend.

TechLab does it all, but I only go there for one reason: Film processing. It’s just too much work(and not the safest thing) to process C41 at home. I can do B&W all day long, but C-41 is just asking for trouble. Taking my film to Techlab is like an Indiana Jones movie without all of the Nazis(I’m not sure they’d fit in around the neighborhood). When you go to pick it up, you are forced brave all of the dangers of Belvedere Square(mostly the bad drivers that almost run you over) and then, when you finally make it into the store and pick up your negatives, you hold in your hand an artifact of a bygone era… Truly an archaeological treasure.
