The Lenore

The Lenore is a beautiful and safe building in the heart of Baltimore. The management and staff members are all very friendly. Laundry is in suite and the finishes on the building are very nice.
I do however agree with part of Ili’s message — the windows have a heavy draft in the winter — my husband and I always kept our blinds closed, which was ok since we faced the parking garage next door however, it would have been nice to keep our blinds open for natural light in the winter.
I would definitely recommend touring the building if you are looking for an apartment in the area. They have a gym, conference room, game area, coffee/​tea, outdoor pet area, bbq…

The Lenore unfortunately turned out to be a very manipulative and poor property to rent from. Upon moving in during the middle of winter we discovered our unit could not maintain a temperature above 55 degrees, despite having both heating units on the highest settings (300+ electric bills). This was due to a draft coming from all windows. We asked management 5x to fix it before it was confirmed it «could not be fixed without major renovation and replacement of windows». Long story short management decided to not uphold their end of the lease yet expected an 8 thousand dollar buy out for a unit not up to code. Do not rent here, you will be manipulated and caught in the middle of revolving management. The electric is also faulty, trying to stay warm with a heating pad tripped my electric 7 times in one day… Absolute Nightmare, worst place I have ever lived. The lenore operates with 0 integrity.
