If your getting married in Baltimore and need a great florist for a great price choose The Modest Florist. Libby was a life savor for my wedding. My fiancée at the time had another florist picked out who turned out to be a nightmare. Thank god two weeks before our wedding we switched to Libby and all was wonderful for our wedding. We had lots of compliments and she even made the vases so friends and family could take the flowers home after the wedding. Again the best florist in the area.

I have purchased flowers here for birthdays, hospital visits and events and never been disappointed. The selection of flowers is always unusual and specially designed for whatever occasion I have called about.
The bouquet Libby made for my hospital visit with my mom was absolutely perfect: I wanted vivid colors and something that she would enjoy smelling, and the peonies were amazing! I posted a photo here (can’t figure out how to put it in this review!) Everybody who came into the hospital room remarked on how beautiful it was.
The owner is lovely, too and super helpful.

The Modest Florist is a dream come true! She sources local flowers and plants, can whip up a gorgeous bouquet in minutes, is unbelievably creative with her arrangements, and are so reasonably priced it boggles the mind a little. I recommend them very highly for any all your floral needs!

My aunt sent me flowers so I was surprised to find a dapper dude at my door announcing he was from modest florist and had a delivery for me. When I called to tell her how incredibly impressed I was with the delivery and charming presentation of the beautiful bouquet she (my aunt) went on and on about how wonderfully helpful the lady was when she called modest florist to place the order. My aunt is a bit of a crabby patty and tends toward the negative so for her to gush about a business says A LOT. I figured I should pass the good word along :-)

One word: AWESOME! I came in with a last-​minute request (seriously…the store was only going to be open for another 15 minutes) and got it taken care of immediately. With a smile, no less! I can’t say enough about the customer service, quality of the arrangements, and the incredibly warm touch that The Modest Florist dishes out in huge heapin’ helpings! Forget the Giant, forget those snooty florists: if what you want is flowers done right by someone who obviously loves what she does, this is the place to go. I wish there were more than 5 stars!

Ducked in here for last minute Passover/​Easter flowers and couldn’t have been more pleased. While it will (of course) run you more than a Trader Joe’s bouquet off the rack, these are all local blooms and the owner will answer all of your questions with lots of knowledge, and wrap your flowers however you want.
She was so patient and helpful as I stood there asking, «OoH! What’s that called? What’s that? What are they?!» Great customer service and you can tell this lady has truly found her passion and calling in life.
So great to have a local corner florist you can count on!

Libby was our wedding florist and she was absolutely amazing. In addition to being a skilled artist, she is committed to using only local flowers, which is so hard to find! She gives each of her clients individual attention and goes above and beyond to meet your budget while also sticking to your preferences and and vision for your event. So lucky to have her in Hampden!
