Food is hit or miss. Usually good but they have their off days. You can get a good drink. Nothing is fast here.

Fantastic! The tasting menu is amazing! Their food never disappoints. The quality is unmatchable. The cauliflower soup, sirloin, and baked oysters are just some of my favorite items to get. Patrick is the man!

The weekend brunch is fantastic! The crab omelet is chock full of lump crab meat. Reservations are suggested especially if there is a Ravens game.

We just held my sister’s engagement dinner there over the weekend. We were very pleased with the level of service and the food. They were amazing and did it all for a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend them.

This is one of my favorite places in Federal Hill. The Rowhouse Grille has amazing food– My favorites are the Shrimp & Grits as well as the Kimchi Korean Garlic Wings. The staff is incredible here too! Great ambiance and people. Good spot to watch the game or just sit down at brunch with friends.

This place has really great AUCD Brunch specials on the weekends! Everything I’ve had here for dinner or brunch has been delicious! I’d recommend the Chicken & Waffles or the Grilled Salmon Salad. Great mimosas and my friend really liked their Bloody Mary’s. Their buffalo chicken dip is very hot. The upstairs is great for parties, too!

This is my go-to place in Fed Hill. Food is always on point, happy hour(2 for 1’s on EVERYTHING) and brunch specials(bottomless) are a great deal, and the bartenders are awesome. I recommend their chicken and waffles, sweet chili wings, or calamari(when they have it).

Long bar when you walk in the front entrance but also somewhat cramped. There isn’t much space besides sitting at the bar and maybe one person standing behind the bar seats. There’s is additional seating in the back that seemed more spacious. Only had drinks and they were reasonably priced.

Came here Sunday for a late brunch and left felling every bit satisfied. They’re creative and original dishes are fresh with so much bang for your buck. Sean the manager, constantly asked us if we were satisfied with the food and our bartender Scott was very pleasant and had good recommendations for food. When all was said and done, the Thai chili wings were out of this world. My fiancé got the Reuben, which was euphoric to say the least. Great local spot with amazing selections of beer and cocktails. And as always, service was top notch. Well done, Patrick

Ordered their tuna BALT rare. Got the cheapest thinnest piece of WELL done tuna I’ve ever seen. I thought I was crazy didn’t question anything bc I didn’t want to be that«girl»(yes I am being that girl now) table next to us ordered same thing I overheard them complaining about the same thing and so we decided to ask the waitress what was up. Both of us ordered our steaks rare got flank steak thin tuna at well done. She went to the kitchen came back and tried to tell us both the«chef» said tuna steak is always cut differently. We both were like we ordered a $ 16 dollar tuna«steak» which wasn’t served. Pretty much no explanation on why it was severed this way. It was a cheap price of white fish with a ton of blacken seasoning. Good place for happy hour anything else stay away. And let me set this with I’ve been here multiple time. Tried to give it a second and third chance

I came here with a number of people to grab dinner and drinks. The place is surprisingly large with a door on Light Street and a side entrance halfway down the cross street. The first floor has a decently long bar that gives way to a standard seating area at the far end of the building. There is also outdoor seating and a staircase upstairs(but we never ventured that far). There are bathrooms(single person variety) on the first floor, at the back towards the kitchen.(Always good to know where those are). We started with drinks: beer, old fashioned, and I ordered the grapefruit mojito. Yeah, I took some razzing, but what I told my friends ended up being absolutely accurate: it’s going to be refreshing, it’s going to be delicious, and it’s going to make me happy. All true. With the only complaint being that I’m not sure how much alcohol was is in it. It may have been mixed well, or it may have been light on booze. Either way it was tasty! I’d drink that again and again, I just wish they had a 20oz variety. In a rather embarrassing turn of events, we all ordered the gyro. It was a tasty, with plenty of meat, good vegetables, and a tangy/cool sauce(I can’t remember how to spell it, it’s that tsasiki or something… you know which one). I asked for extra sauce, it was needed. The fries that came with it said ‘curry fries’…I guess I have no idea what that means, because they were just regular rough cut, sea salted, french fries. But they were crispy and good. All in all a great experience. Value was decent, not great, but I didn’t leave feeling violated. I’d definitely go here more, try more things, and likely add a star.

I give The Rowhouse Grille a lot of credit for putting together a pretty interesting, comprehensive and off-the-beaten path menu that covers a mixture of pub classics, southern-inspired dishes, and hints of Asian flavors. Unfortunately, a few of us were somewhat disappointed with our choices. I ordered the Tuna B.A.L.T, but they were out of tuna, so I swapped it for grilled salmon. It was good — not great, but acceptable. When I ordered, I was offered a choice of house-made chips, sweet potato fries, regular fries, or a salad. Little did I know that my salad would be an additional $ 4 — and disappointing. The salad was all odd pieces of lettuce(maybe an arugula/spring mix variety? Hard to tell) — which were large and hard to manage. I appreciated the kalamata olives on top, but disappointed to find some small pits in them(but not all???) Also, the salad was topped with a gratuitous amount of raw onion. I don’t dislike raw onion, but because it was featured prominently on both my salad AND sandwich, I removed 75% of the onions from my plate. Someone else opted for a small plate for their meal: a special of fried green tomatoes with avocados. She was disappointed by the small portion(3 slices of tomato for $ 12) and said the breading and tomato tasted old. The avocado’s didn’t really add to the dish in any discernible way. My boyfriend ordered one of the specials — a salmon cake sandwich. He enjoyed it and the house-made chips that were served along with it were good, too. Another person ordered the BBQ Pork sandwich — which seemed to be the best thing on the table, by far. It sounds like we hated our experience, which we did not. Our server was really charismatic, attentive, and friendly and answered our questions and made suggestions as needed. It’s an inviting and friendly pub-type space, and everyone seemed to be having a good time. If I were to go back, I think I would stick more to the«pub» side of the menu and go for either the BBQ pork sandwich or something similar.

Service was awesome. Excellent bartender. The food I ordered was so gross I could barely take bites so I didn’t offend the server that recommended it to me. It was supposed to have chicken stuffed inside a biscuit with mashed potatoes on top. The chicken was almost black and had a terrible flavor(canned chicken?!?)

Bloody Mary’s are great and so are the chicken and waffles. Rowhouse Grille has an eclectic brunch menu. My friends ordered the breakfast cupcakes and Irish breakfast.

Came here for valentines day lunch. Made a reservation through open table. Drove 45 minutes there, got in, said the kitchen was closed because they were ‘prepping’ for their vday menu. I was about to flip sh*t after driving 45 minutes to have lunch. They finally said they would seat us(why take reservations on opentable for those times then?) The server told us there were probably 8 things that werent avaiable on the menu which was ticked me off. Food was good though, enviroment was crappy. Everyone was running around cleaning/setting up etc. like they couldn’t wait for us to finish. I mean we had lunch at 2. Do yourself a favor and don’t get the crab dip. $ 14 for one little shred of crap.

The food is excellent but the service is very rushed. We were a party of 4 on a busy Saturday night. The server seemed frantic the entire night as she rushed from table to table. We appreciated her honesty about the menu items but she was very quick with us and did not seem to have a lot of patience. The kitchen was definitely backed up. We asked for bread to have with the rest of our sauce leftover from mussels, and it took so long that the sauce got cold. However, the entrees were delicious, especially the sweet chili salmon. The ambiance is good and it is definitely a hot-spot. They just need to be better staffed on a weekend, especially since they are planning to have outdoor seating soon.

This is a regular spot of mine for drinks and appetizers before a night out in Fed or a go to Sunday brunch for the football games. Food is always delicious, as I have tried many of their appetizers, tacos, and sandwiches.(Fish tacos are the bomb!). The bartenders have been nothing but pleasant and attentive on refilling both water and alcoholic beverages. The chill atmosphere in this small establishment makes it one of my favorite bar hang outs in the area, along with a great selection of local beers on draft. I never leave or walk in with a «hey» or «have a great night» from the bartenders. Go meet a friend at row house and catch up, You won’t be disappointed.

Bottomless mimosas if you order food — yep bottomless — well until 2:30pm. Order brunch entrées — actually order this one. This was a chorizo and egg scramble, with peppers and onions piled high on some buttery grits. These grits had a little more texture than some do — which gave a nice contrasting texture to the dish. And look at that toast — love love thick Texas toast. I would have liked a hint of cilantro or a jalepeño, but this was a solid brunch. I will be back and I will order this. All their brunch items were solid, and the egg sandwich is humongous. As Fed Hill spots — this place is a great one, especially for the sports and when you don’t want to be jammed in like sardines on Cross Street. In fact, we watched the football and then stayed for the baseball. Tacos and burgers also cooked to perfection.

The Rowhouse Grille in Federal Hill is one of my favorite place to grab appetizers. Some friends and I were meeting up with our other friends a little later to grab some drinks(Brewers Cask, it’s my favorite spot to grab a beer) and we wanted to eat something small before meeting a friend. The Rowhouse Grille has awesome appetizers and if you make a reservation on OpenTable before 6:30, you get 1,000 points. The Rowhouse Grille is one of the restaurants I have a City Dining Card for so this was also the perfect opportunity to use it. I love buffalo chicken, my love for buffalo chicken extends to buffalo chicken dip. The Rowhouse Grille happens to have one of the best buffalo chicken dips around. Not only is the dip spicy without burning your mouth, but there’s tons of shredded chicken evenly distributed throughout the dish. I would prefer however if it was served with chips instead of pieces of pita bread, but it’s still a wonderful dish. We also decided to share an order of the Frites. At The Rowhouse Grille, their frites come with a choice of dipping sauces, we picked ketchup(the standard dip for fries), honey mustard, chipotle mayo and sriracha aioli. I loved the honey mustard, the chipotle mayo and sriracha aioli tasted very similar except the chipotle mayo had a nice smoky flavor. They were awesome though. Lastly, we decided to share an order of the 4 Cheese Mac & Cheese. It was a blend of smoked gouda, american, cheddar, and pepper jack cheeses. The pepper jack gave it a nice little spicy flavor but it was really just a bowl of cheesy awesome. However it doesn’t compare to the amazing one I had the week before at SoBo Café, but it is still something I’d order again. For some great appetizers in Federal Hill, The Rowhouse Grille is worth a visit. It’s also worth noting that this meal plus we each ordered a soda, barely came to $ 30. The buffalo chicken dip was $ 11 but the other two appetizers were only $ 6 and a huge portion of food.
