Tight Image Barber

It’s a black/​African-​American barber shop I had to throw that in there to help with searches.
It’s a nice clean, downtown shop. Parking can be tough if you try to come here on the weekend. Both times I’ve been there, I didn’t wait too long and the cuts were efficient and good. And a cut will run you $ 20 plus tip.

Since I’ve moved to Bmore this place has been my spot! It’s the classic barbershop just like the movie. You got crazy conversation, people comin in tryin to sell you everything from baby clothes to new york best sellers. Its the spot to come relax, unwind and hang with the fellas. Once you find a barber there is no replacing him. Once I was referred to my dude Larry knew it was a good find. He is great at his craft. I’m very particular about my hair, especially my beard. He’s knows my struggle with a beard of his own he understands. I go in each week like clockwork. The only gripe I have is my appt time isn’t always on time. A simple text to my barber gave me a better time as to when id be up. Can’t ask for better service than that. If you come in be sure to make an appt with Larry is always booked, for a good reason!

Got my hair cut by Steve. I have officially found my new barber. This shop does good work, and for a reasonable price.

Being from new york, I am used to having my hair boxed up properly… I am always nervous about having new people cut my hair because it’s hard enough to find someone who can do a fade without giving you a wiffle. Phil lined me up nicely… and because of that, my search for a barber in baltimore is over. Good location, good talk, the only thing is that it was $ 20…which my friends from work tell me thats the B’more standard. I’m used to paying 10−15…guess times are changing. Anyway now I look sharp so it was worth every penny. I’ll be back around in a few weeks for my next cut.

Clean shop that caters to the female clientele. Owner Phil typically requires an appointment that in my 6+ years of going has only worked out well for him. :)) Late not by much but for me it’s the principle. Your not disappointed when you leave the salon. Take notice of the colorful artwork that’s displayed as the artist is right there in the shop & often has prints on hand that are for sale and at times is offering the original masterpiece.
