Vinny’s has great Italian food and the bread they give you is delicious. I always get chicken Parmesan it is my favorite.

Great pizza and italian food. Delicious vodka sauce and gnocchi. Wait staff is wonderful — one of the nicest waiters we have ever had. Try the 30″ pizza — I couldn’t fit it through the door!

Love love love this place. Just about everything I have ever ordered from here is Delicious. We make an effort to go to lunch here everyday during work. The Longshoreman Salad is great and filling. I also enjoy their eggplant parmigiana. My son loves their pizza it’s massive he has to take half of it home. The crew that works their are warm friendly and attentive.

Went here Wednesday night with a friend of mine for the first time. Once seated our server Tony, who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, told us the specials for the evening and from there on we ordered appetizers. We had the burratta with bruschetta as well as some oysters, both were great choices. For entrees I had the gnocchi, while my friend had the braised brisket ravioli, I tried some of hers, very delicious. The gnocchi I had here was probably the best I’ve ever tried. Our server brought us cannolis at the end of the meal, super delicious. All around great food, great service and a wonderful place to dine at, will definitely be back.

Vinny’s is great. They have something for everyone. You can choose whether you want to sit in a dining room environment or a carryout sub shop area(or just plain take it to go). The carryout side sells massive pizzas, and you can get individual slices too. The pastas come with a salad with their tasty house vinaigrette(an oil and vinegar with shallots and herbs, served on the side) and also a bread basket. The bread is worth mentioning because of the red bread(aka tomato bread). You have your standard Italian bread slices, as well as a puffy toasted focaccia-like bread that is brushed with tomato sauce. Awesome! The portions are plentiful; I will probably get four meals out of my spaghetti and meat sauce. And what guy do you know that can get filled up on a salad? Well the DBF had a blackened chicken Caesar and it was huge. He needed nothing else(other than some red bread of course). Vinny’s has good food, decent prices, and large portions. My kind of place!

I go here regularly for lunch and have been here a few times for dinner. I have always been treated great and the food is always good. They claim to have the best Italian cold cut sandwich which is pretty accurate.

Best place for fantastic pizza, sandwiches and salads. The front room is a casual café and the back is a more formal dining room with a large wine cellar. Vinnie, the owner is happy to create a special sandwich for you or pick out a Port. A hidden gem in an industrial area

Great parking, nice décor, good potential. I had oysters on half shell which were good. Caesar salad was limp, dressing OK. Ravioli’s would have been good if they hadn’t been served half cooked. Server was attentive and accommodating. I might try again for their pizza.

Great Italian cold cut and a meatball on a heel that feeds two. Very reasonable prices. I always sit on the carryout side and the family that owns it couldn’t be more accommodating.

Took some friends here on the way to the airport. This place never disappoints. If you want great Italian food at reasonable prices, this is your place. The friends are second generation Italian and both loved the Eggplant Parmigiana. I had stuffed shells and my guy had chicken fettuccine Alfredo. Both were abundant and delicious. I love this place.

After living in the area far to long we stopped by Vinny’s on a Friday night and were blown away! Alex was our waiter and he was great! We went with his recommendation and ordered a seafood dish that he thought up. It was pricey but worth every penny. So much seafood and it was a very large portion. The wine special was a rose for $ 20 a bottle, who can pass that up! We can’t wait to go back and try something else! I can’t believe we waited this long to try Vinny’s!

Family owned and they are so welcoming when you come in. My boyfriend and I were given a complimentary bottle of wine on Valentine’s Day, just because. The food is amazing! The pizza slices are ridiculously big, salads are fresh, the pasta, especially the spinach ravioli, is great. They serve warm Italian bread and bread with marinara sauce before your entrée. This nice of a restaurant doesn’t fit with the location in Dundalk but don’t let the neighborhood fool you. Recently built wine cabinet that is beautiful.

You can go to Little Italy and spend some big buck’s or you can go to VINNY“S and get some great Italian food at a reasonable price for the quality. The pizza is great«maybe» one other pizza shop in the Baltimore city /county can beat their ‘s. The Lingiuni in clam sauce and The calamari you can spend more for, but your not gonna get any that taste better or fresher than VINNY“S. The have a real nice dinning room to take your other girl to and a nice just got off work, or don’t feel like getting dressed up go out and eat carry out with booths with Raven’s /Orioles on the TV ‘s.

I was not inclined to give this place a 5, but, darn it, it deserves one. My guy and I tried to come up with something we didn’t like and couldn’t do it. Vinnies is better than any place in Little Italy. We were charmed by the old world ambiance and the friendliness of the staff. They also had a live piano player who knew how to entertain without intruding. I had the seafood special and my guy had veal Marsala. Both dishes were amazing and the serving sizes were huge; well worth the higher than average prices. If I had to come up with one improvement, I would say that the Marinera sauce needs a little salt to bring it to full flavor. Vinnies is definitely worth going out of your way to get there. We now have a new favorite Italian Restaurant.

Vinny’s Café is a hidden gem. The neighborhood used to be old warehouses but those have been demolished. I have been going there for near 10 yrs now. A few years back they did an impressive remodel job. New since then is a wine room. The food is every bit as good or better than any place in Little Italy, Baltimore. The service is always good. Tony, the owner’s son and the man running the show, always makes his rounds to the tables and talks to everyone. I’m a confessed beer snob and he’s always trying to impress me with a new beer. Often he succeeds. I don’t know a lot about wines but the list is pretty long. I know the sangria are tasty, The menu ranges from subs to pizza. What’s an Italian place that doesn’t?!? But it continues on including veal, seafood, etc. The specials vary so ask if they aren’t mentioned. Spoiler alert: they are written on the board as you come in. Take a moment and read them. If you think you are a big eater, try the 30″ pizza. Go ahead, I double-dog dare you! I managed to eat 2 ½ slices. P. S. the take home box would literally not fit in the back seat. Good thing I drove the truck that night.

Yum! I called ahead and my food was ready when I got there. I ordered a cheese steak sub and fries. Both were so good. I probably won’t branch out too much on what I order as I only work nearby, but I will definitely order from here again.

Yummy! Recommended highly by BPD, so I decided to stop in for a large slice and salad. The slice had just the right amount of cheese, with perfect stability and a solid crunchy crust. Also important to mention that the pizza slice was presumably 2x the size of my head and/or equivalent to three slices of pizza. This place serves up big portions and I’m not just talking about the pizza — the greek salad was enough to feed 2 – 3 people. Remember to keep your order simple, as not to over-stuff yourself! Nom Nom Nom.

When your here, I recommend either the Italian cold cut, the meatball parmesan sub(served on a heel), or a huge slice of pepperoni pizza. If you go with one of those three, you’re going to walk out satisfied — plain and simple.

The place looks like crap on the outside… It’s very old, run down, etc. It is majorly in need of renovation… the whole look/feel is outdated. Also, this is a rough area… I’m not sure I’d bring my family here. Actually, I wouldn’t. I ordered just a plain slice of cheese pizza. The pizza is pretty good… slices are massive… could have more taste to it, but better than most in Baltimore. For what you’re paying, the slice is a good deal. Again, not the best ever, but pretty good. Inside of the restaurant definitely needs some cleaning and updating as well. Pizza…3 stars. Overall experience…2 stars.

After our early morning flight from Huntsville we were famished; let’s face it airline peanuts and cookies just don’t satisfy one’s appetite. It has been a long while since I went to Vinnie’s Café for pizza(April 2009, when I returned home from Iraq). I live in Harford County and going to Vinnie’s is a bit of a hike when Fortunato Bros has great pizza here. But today was an opportunity that was hard to pass up since I had to drive right by them in Dundalk. Sheri and I ordered a Vinnie Salad(Mescule Salad Mix, Cheese, Onions, Tomatoes, Red Roasted Peppers, and Balsamic Dressing), this is a great Italian insalate appetizer to split. Lots of fresh mozzarella and roasted red peppers and a very flavorful balsamic glaze dressing. We also ordered slices of pizza, cheese for Sheri, and mushroom for me. There is nothing like a slice of pizza that is reheated in a real pizza oven. The bottom of the crust gets nice and crispy & chewy while the cheese gets stringy and gooey!!. The mushrooms on my pizza were freshly sauteed prior to being added as a topping, OMG they were so tasty!!! Vinnie’s pizza is 100% New York Style!!! The red sauce has just the right amount of sweetness and seasonings, while the crust is tender, crispy, and chewy all at the same time. Having been born in Upstate NY, raised in Jersey, and went to college in Upstate NY, I was spoiled on NY style pizza, and Vinnie’s definitely satisfies my pizza cravings!!! In my opinion, Vinnie’s has one of the best pizzas I’ve had in the Baltimore area. They also have an extensive menu of subs, salads, and italian foods. Also, Vinnie’s has two sections… the formal Italian dinning /eat in restaurant(with Baby Grand Piano) and the take out Pizza shop with 8 booths to sit at too. My pictures are only of the pizzeria. Vinnie’s also makes a 30 inch, yuppers you read right 30 inch diameter Pizza… it is hugomungus!!! A member of «Best Pizza by the Slice»!!!
