Their rates are so much higher than other home security systems and their sales people lie. First off they came knocking on our door at 8pm to sell us their product. We had been looking for a security system so we thought why not. The sales guy said the contract was for 2 years… beware it is for«5». Our equipment has never worked right and the key pad for the front door eats up batteries on a weekly basis. If I could do it over again, I would go with ADT or another company.

The sales guy who came to my door was all about lying. He told me that I’d been selected to be a promotional home and went on to explain that they were basically going to give me all the equipment for free. All I’d have to do is pay them $ 79 a month, which barely covers the cost they pay for your panel’s connection to a mobile network and tell all my neighbors about the great service. He also added«Don’t tell anyone because they’ll be jealous.» He told me that, because I’d been selected to receive this extra special promotional pricing, I had to have all the bells and whistles. This is motion detectors, CO2 detectors, glass break sensors, and automatic locks. After the sales guy left, I called Vivint sales and got quoted the same price, $ 79, for all these services. It wasn’t a promotional price and I was told that I could pick and choose the services I wanted. Less services = lower pricing but that was not an option with the guy who showed up at my door.
