This place is not the place to go! So many people get robbed or killed in the waiting area and all they have is a camera for protection. the food is not good, not worth the safety. Go when the sun is out or when you see the cops there. Sad for the owners

Always wanted to come here but always too many drug dealers and thugs hanging around. Google«most dangerous carryout in America» and you will see the City Paper article for Yau Brothers on the first page. A couple people have been shot and killed inside Yau’s. Gang wars and drug deals gone bad. The only way I was able to get inside now was because cops were hiding in the parking lot next door for speeders. The gang-bangers were nowhere to be seen and the carryout was completely empty. Felt bad for the owners. Roughnecks still are paying customers. Food was horrendous. Cheese steak was flavorless and they didn’t even bother toasting the sub roll. They did include a couple of boiled shrimp for a twist. Beef and broccoli smelled funny and was #1 or #2 worst I ever had. Generic brown sauce gives generic brown sauce a bad name. Yau’s wasn’t savory at all. You figured it would be fat, MSG, and soy sauce thickened with corn starch but all I tasted was MSG. You know it’s bad when the best part was the broccoli. Prices were dirt cheap but you get what you pay for– a dirty taste in the mouth. So why am I still happy? Because I survived the most dangerous carryout in America and get a star for«First to Review». Yeah!
