If your restaurant is located in downtown with all the businesses, people are on there lunch break wanted to be in and out quickly. Holy smokes they are so slow, and the food just warm.

We visited here in mid-October on a trip through Maine, a party of four ranging from my 25 year old daughter to my 87 year old aunt. We all enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. And I enjoyed the Guinness draft. Great pub.

Food isn’t bad, but it is basically all fried. Good Guinness.

My wife and I stopped here on a recent visit and were very impressed by both the food and service offered here. The wait staff was very friendly and after taking our order, our food arrived very quickly and tasted great! Great atmosphere with some Irish music playing in the background. We would definitely stop in again!

Your standard Irish pub. Had live music when we went in and the band was pretty good. Didn’t try the food but they have a standard selection of beer on tap. Location is convenient as it is right in downtown.

I went here for dinner with Skinny Jeff and the Other Skinny Jeff. 3 old speckled hens, some onion rings, 3 steak tips(with boxty!!!), and a brownie Sunday, and we’re good to go. So we did. Thanks for the rec Claire d!!!

Very friendly and attentive staff. Overall the food was good and beer selection was pretty good. I was passing through and gave it a try. Older crowd. Live jazz was great but overpowered the room. I actually measured the volume, and it ave r aged 104 decibels. I know I am becoming an old fart, but that is too loud for dinner music.

For decent Irish pub food in Bangor(besides the wonderful ) then you should hit up Paddy’s. They’re downtown which is super. Their beer selection isn’t particularly exciting(which is very unfortunate) but they’ve generally got live music as well as pub quiz night. The food is always quite good and the service is great. They also have outdoor seating and it’s dog friendly.

Although this restaurant makes Irish food, it can still satisfy many Chinese. Salads and Burgers there are 200% nice. It’s a really good choice for friends’ reunion.

Excellent food, friendly & fun staff. We stopped in while traveling through town and we were pleasantly very pleased with the quality of everything ordered. Great corned beef plate, I would go again.

Not bad. I like too stick to the old favorites at these kinds of place, so it was Bangers and Mash for me, and it was pretty good.

Swung through Bangor on our Maine vacation and found Paddy’s. This is a super cute traditional Irish pub. There was Irish music playing and great outside seating. Great beer selection. We had the Guinness burger and halibut tacos. So delicious. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. If we lived in Bangor this would be our go-to spot.

My husband and I came in for lunch the other day. Service was quick and friendly! We shared the Guinness burger with onion rings and my husband got the clam chowder soup which he liked. The burger was great, the burger looked like it was hand made, not a pre made patty, and the Guinness BBQ sauce was on point. We got it with the Gouda cheese, but I might try the cheddar next time for something sharper. Will definitely be going back, looks like a great spot for good pub food!

Stopped in pre-concert, based on strong reviews in Urban Spoon. REALLY good, fresh food. Two of us had veggie burgers, one had the portobello cap«burger,» and another had a chicken Caesar salad. Fries — regular and sweet potato — were fresh and delicious. Cool vibe, waiting out in the patio for a seat inside. Y’all come!

Wife and I had lunch here on 1⁄17 and it was outstanding! I highly recommend the Guinness stew, and you can’t beat a frosty glass of Guinness with a shamrock in the head.

Having been to Ireland quite a few times this last year, I would say this place is pretty fantastic. I hear they stay open throughout the winter when everything else closes. I had the Guinness burger, which was delicious. The beer tastes good and the staff are friendly.

I’ve been here twice now and will go again. I may up it to a 5 star with one more visit. Nice little pub with good beers, and good burgers. Of all the places in downtown I have tried so far they had the best burger. I had the Guinness burger. Delish.

We stopped here for lunch the other day and had a wonderful meal. I had the Guinness Burger and it was wonderful. Cooked just the way I asked, the bacon was perfect, and the Guinness BBQ Sauce was a great addition. My husband had Paddy’s Club and he loved it. It had real slices of turkey, crisp bacon, the garlic mayonnaise was great. We both had draft beers that great. They have a large selection of draft beers, easy to find one you will like. Service was great and the atmosphere was fun and lively.

Definitely a no-frills locals hang-out. Offers a live weekly trivia game on Wednesdays that requires a nominal cash buy-in(pretty fun), but the games drag on for more than 2 ½ hours. The food is slightly below average bar fare, but most disappointing is their limited draft beer selection. There are few tvs, so it’s not an ideal spot to watch a sports game. Other than hosting trivia, the bar has limited appeal. Whenever the construction in downtown Bangor is completed, Paddy’s will benefit from more foot traffic. As of right now, the vibe is very drab and dated, but I’m rooting for it to hang in there.
