Amazing Tamarind Fish and drunken noodles! Loved the hosts. Great experience. Dont be fooled by the small store front. Highly recommend.

kind of terrible experience. We ordered food around 7:40 and they said it took 45 minutes. After they charged my credit card. No one called me until I call them back. The manager said will call me back but he didn’t. And I was keeping calling them but no one picked up. Finally the manger called me back and delivered at 9:40. Missing two Thai ice tea and all food gets cold. btw they didn’t provide any chopsticks or fork for me to eat. Lol

I reallllly doubt why this place get 4 stars. It’s horrible horrible place. They do bully customers. Horrible horrible Thai FAST food. Hate it soooo much. Worst Thai food I had ever had!!! Please don’t go to this place unless u wanna kill yourseld! And I will appreciate if I can grade negative stars.

Small place and it is easy to miss. We ordered to go order as there was not much place to sit inside. The owner gave us a table to sit outside but it was chilly and too dark. V had ordered drunken noodles and massaman curry. The curry was decent. Fresh vegetables and good taste. Not as spicy as ordered. Drunken noodles were Ok. Again, i wish there was more spice and kick to it. Noodles were not the flat noodles i have had elsewhere but the thin pad thai noodles. Doesn’t make much difference to me. Overall ok place. Were these best drunken noodles? Not really but they weren’t the worse. Thai ice tea was ok too. Owners are friendly and will chat with you and make you feel welcomed.

Don’t jude a book by its cover, thats how it goes, right? Well if you aren’t going to do that, then definitely do not judge a restaurant by its incredibly shady and questionable appearance :), ah, I jest, well kind of. Solid Thai food in Bangor — not a lot of variety. You can select your spice level for most dishes, but i usually opt for a 7⁄10 and it isn’t ever noticeably spicy — so I think they’re a little conservative with the spice. When I walked in for the first time the guys were sluggin some bud heavy’s which I think makes them good people, and they make taste food.

Don’t be deceived by the tiny storefront. I got drunken noodles to go and they were the freshest, spiciest drunken noodles I’ve ever had. Other places will foist off frozen vegetables on you: Here, they julienne them fresh. I wouldn’t expect seating, though– the place is tiny. We pulled over and ate in our car instead. Maybe a little pricy for takeout, but the quality is something else!

SOGOOD. Ask for extra sauce though on the Pad Thai, though. It’s an odd little building but the owners are extremely friendly and always like to have a conversation. The drunken noodles are great as well! Our go-to place for Pad Thai.

We took our daughter and her 2 friends here for lunch to celebrate her birthday. The place is small, but they accommodated us. The food was exceptional and fresh. The sobbing princess dish is highly recommended as is the drunken noodle. Then when we broke out the cake we had made, Tommy brought out 2 dishes of ice cream. Great food, great people. We will be back.

We’ve been meaning to try this out for a long time but were put off by how small and plain it looks. Don’t make the same mistake that we did – park your car in their lot or on the street and go on in! The service is very friendly, and the food is a lovely surprise. As others have posted here, the owner said that if we didn’t like our meals, they’d be free. We had the pad Thai and red curry, both with tofu, and a Thai iced tea(which is made with whole milk). The curry came with a generous serving of white rice. All were delicious! We were smiling throughout the meal. The prices were slightly higher than what we expected, but the portions were generous enough that we each are getting two meals out of each of our entrees. Give it a try!

The owner of this place is witty, likes to tease, and is extremely friendly. As a first time customer, she challenged me to try the drunken chicken noodles. If I didn’t love it, she said it would be free. I used to live in Hong Kong, which has a large Thai population and lots of Thai restaurants. This is by far the best Thai food I have ever eaten. I will definitely returning with my family… I’m a fan!!! If you are wondering if you should try this place, wonder no more. DOIT. You’ll thank me.

I go to John Bapst! I’ve been eating here for 2 years almost everyday and the food is delicious! Their food’s been saving my boarding life! :) Literally everything there! Tommy and Noy are reAlly nice and they are like family with the international kids at Bapst! Very authentic Thai food :)! Not too expensive too!

I was driving through and spotted this place. The woman who worked there couldn’t have been less interested in even pretending to be welcoming. All I ordered were two thai iced teas to go and as I was waiting, a single fly buzzed around my head shortly followed by a second then third and a fourth fly. I asked the woman who was making the tea how much and she peeked around the corner to say 5 dollars and then WIPEDHERNOSEWITHHERHAND as she continued to mix my teas. As she went to grab the non-dairy creamer(instead of the typical coconut milk or sweetened condensed milk) from what I then noticed was a dirty fridge, I said no thank you and walked out. Gross.

Excellent drunken noodles! I love how you can choose the spiciness, and the portions are generous. It’s a little pricy but they do have lunch specials, and the owners are extremely nice and welcoming.

It’s pretty good and the price is about average for what I normally pay for Thai. The #5 spicy still isn’t that spicy. I thought it would be Thai spicy, but I think it’s more white man spicy. The red curry was still good either way. The pineapple chicken rice was really good too. There was an abundance of spring rolls. They should do 2 for less $ as an option. They also have good Thai tea. I called it in and it was ready in about 35 mins. I’ll probably use them again when I have my Thai craving.

I love this place even more and more. Authentic dishes specially requested that’s not on the menu. They are sure quick to cater their customers!

Slow, surprisingly expensive, and skimpy on the meat. Then again, this is probably the best Thai food within 100 miles. As there is only one cook, your order will take at minimum 25 minutes to complete, so call ahead. Thai 2 Go would likely be better served as a regularly cleaned food truck that parked near the waterfront(where the others are), then they could focus on speedier service and cleanliness, since it currently looks like a roach motel. Oh well.

Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. Look past Thai 2 Go’s location and sketchy little building. The food is great and consistent! Prices are reasonable and portions are large. It’s become a go to for us for Thai on the fly… Crab Rangoon’s are good and actually have real crab in them. The pad Thai and drunken noodle are both very good. As are their curry dishes. Someone mentioned previously that their’s was dry and flavorless… this had not been my experience, ever. You can choose your level of spicy(yeah!) and my dishes have always had great flavor(spicy doesn’t always equal flavor) and been very saucy! My only complaint, is that occasionally my dishes have been slightly oily(but I’m being picky here, because I’m picky). Overall, thumbs up for me.

Currently kicking myself for not having given these guys a shot sooner. I don’t care what the building looks like from the outside, the chicken curry I ordered was *fantastic*, super fresh and perfectly spiced. I’ll be making it a point to come back!

AWESOME. Pure and simple, AWESOME! I TRY to save my 5-star reviews for vegetarian-only places; but, this one was so good, I am making an exception(I do that a lot). I was in Bangor and a friend who lives there highly recommended this place. It is a very, very small place, sitting in the middle of a gravel parking lot by itself. You walk in and it is nothing special — 2 little tables and that’s about it(I think it might be mostly take-out). The chef comes out and greets you and asks you want you want. I got the tofu /pineapple curry dish(you can get chicken instead of tofu if you are a flesh-eater). Within a few minutes, the chef brings me out probably one of the best meals I have ever had. It was soooo fresh and hot and delicious! It came with perfect white rice and the flavor of my curry dish was exceptional. I loved it. I wish I had been in Bangor longer so I could eat there again. Don’t be scared off by the appearance of the place. It is NOFRILLS, for sure. But, it is definitely a «don’t judge a book by it’s cover» place. GREAT, GREATFOOD. You’ll love the chef!
