This is definitely one of Bangor’s hidden gems. I don’t think very many people know about it because of its somewhat odd location. I’m pretty sure that it’s owned by the same people who own the radiator shop next door. We stopped in for the first time one evening last summer for ice cream on our way home from the airport and it was amazing. They serve their ice cream from a cold stone, just like Cold Stone Creamery, but I thought this was better. They have a variety of toppings as well. I also really love their paninis. The café itself is very nice and inviting. They have a a couch and chairs, a TV, magazines, and a few tables. The whole place is very comfortable with a nice atmosphere. This is our new summer ice cream spot, for sure. It’s a great place to go whether you just want a cup of coffee, ice cream, or a great sandwich. Five stars here!

Great sandwich café next to the radiator shop! I got the Pesto Veggie on Ciabatta(«it takes a while but it’s the best sandwich you’ll ever put in your mouth»), which was as wonderful as the description insinuates. Their coffee, light and dark roasts, was surprisingly good. Generous heaping of chips and a pickle completed a great basket lunch from a very friendly staff. Will definitely come back, or stick around the next time I’m getting my car worked on.

The interior was well maintained and staff was ultra friendly. I ordered the tuna in a wheat wrap which wasn’t bad. I will definitely visit this place again.

Great place! Love the service and always leave happy! In a strange location so most people don’t think to go there but you should! Hand made waffle cones, cold stone and fantastic toppings!

Pretty damn good sandwiches, wraps, and ice cream! A funky location in the more industrial end of town, shares a building(and possibly ownership?) with Bangor Radiator. I highly recommend their BLT. All-in-all it’s a great place to get lunch, and convenient if you work nearby! Consequently the radiator shop has always delivered good affordable service.

An off-the-beaten-path treasure. Especially perfect if you’re getting your oil changed next door. Don’t be fooled by the name, this place is great for lunch and not just ice-cream. I recommend a panini. The interior is cozy, with entertainment for all ages(televisions, games, books, magazines, etc.).

I was here once before while I was getting my car worked on — then I had a client come to town and asked for a quiet out of the way place to chat — we had a nice lunch and a comfortable place to talk, get on line and do business. They have quite a business from the Air Guard base as well as a steady stream of regulars, but the way it is laid out you feel like you are all by yourself. They have soups, salads, sandwiches, lots of other things — ice cream that is made locally!
