Super cute little café in the back of an antique shop. I had to be somewhere so I couldn’t stay long but will definitely be coming back to check it out!

Fun place. Nice little café among a lot of cool antiques. Clean bathroom and lots of parking. Huge pluses!

Best atmosphere, excellent café amongst well curated pieces eclectically collected and so reasonably priced. Once a month, they host a great open mic that engages such an interesting following of local talent. Great spot!

Truly unique, a great spot in Bantam/Litchfield for coffee, bfst, pastries, and Antiques & Gifts. We enjoy morning coffee at Café 202 at least once a week, great latte and coffee, and bagels from Amis in Waterbury, the best. Sitting in the Café is like being in a friend’s home, with the addition of interesting antiques and furnishings all around. We always stop to look at new additions and possible purchases for our home when we visit, fun items and generally priced quite reasonably. Enjoy!

I would’ve never seen this coffee shop if it wasn’t for the chalkboard on the side of the road. Café 202 is located in the back of an antique shop in Bantam. It’s really neat that you get to walk around, between cool little trinkets, furniture, glass and plateware to get back to order your cup of Joe. The café is owned by the antique store, not separate owners, and the barista who made my coffee suggested the Carmel iced latte because it was a little sweeter then the other choices. It definitely hit the spot, and the eco-friendly cups are a nice touch! I would suggest to come here if you are driving around the Country roads of Litchfield, Bantam, or have the day off on a nice Sunday afternoon to explore. Although they are listed on Unilocal,I wish that there was more advertising to let people know that, «hey! We have coffee here!» P. S. Unlike other small town coffee shops, this one accepts credit and debit cards! That’s a nice perk

Beautiful environment in which to work. In nice weather a large porch open out back. The Bantam Buzz coffee is excellent. I am generally an espresso drinker and I prefer the house blend at Café 202! Honey scones a stand out, scrumptious muffins, a varied high quality selection of teas also. Mexican spiced hot cocoa delicious. The staff are very friendly, if sometimes side tracked. Personal service.

Café 202 is great. We are very fortunate to have a nice place to hang in our neck of the woods. I go all the time. Very friendly staff.

Great chai! Love the constantly changing seating and layout as newly arrived antique pieces replace recently fold ones. Great place to meet up with friends!

Disappointed! Service without a smile and with an attitude of «your interrupting my free time». To complete the visit the coffee tasted burnt. NEVER again.

Went for coffee this morning and got the dark roast. The coffee is good and hot. Polite counter person knew their coffee. Will definitely go back. Bright and clean. One thing is that the coffee counter is in the back portion of the antiques store.
