Disclaimer: My complaint is more against the trip and not the service or the ship.
I took the ferry from Bar Harbor to Nova Scotia and back. The ship was great, absolute top notch, and the crew were helpful. Also, being out on the water was beautiful. However, then we got off in Yarmouth, NS and I won’t get into much detail but Yarmouth, NS sucks. A lot. If you need to use this ferry company (key word «need») they’re great. But if you’re thinking of just taking a trip across the water to Nova Scotia, don’t. It’s terrible. It’s like traveling to the Alabama of Canada.
