Fantastic pizza, thick or thin crust, they are both great. Lots and lots of toppings.

Really, really good pizza. Lots of seating, place is family friendly. Nice tap list. Service is always attentive.

Great food, great people, great atmosphere. What more could you ask for. Great beer selection, pizza is first rate. We always get the burger and wings. Everything is good.

So this place is the real deal. We heard all the hype about there pizza being some of the best there is! Let me say that the rumors are true. My wife, our daughter and myself went in around 3pm on a Monday to see what the place is all about. Its a old industrial style building turned into a bar. Very nice and clean on the inside. Would not expect it from the outside, but once inside they have a little to offer to everyone. Horseshoe bar for conversation, plenty of dart boards, pool tables and video bar games.
Back to the food. We had some cheese fries as an appetizer and a Meat Lovers or I think it was called the CARNIVORE deep dish pizza. The crust was nice and light, very crispy, great fresh sausage that sat right on top of the pizza starring at you the entire time. The pizza was topped with what I would assume to be a fresh Wisconsin cheese. We took some home and reheated it in the oven at 325 for like 10 mins and it was just as good the second time around as the first. It’s that good people.
Got a chance to visit with the owner himself for a few minutes. Very nice young owner that seems to have his stuff together. We had a nice conversation that to me showed the guy cares about what he does. Took a few minutes out of his day to stop and ask how things tasted and how we were doing. Class Act! Great bartender Becky as well. Good job GEM CITY. Keep up the great work. We will be back for sure. Just for all of you that are reading this post knows we drove almost 35 – 40 minutes just to eat at this joint. We will make the drive again. Visit the circus and you could walk right down the road to eat. This place should be packed for dinner ever day of the week.

Gem has the best pizza, burgers, and spinach and artichoke dip in Baraboo! I have recommended the food to many people. It’s also a pretty good spot to hang out and watch a game or play pool or darts. However, the service at Gem has never been great when I’ve gone. They rarely will come out from behind the bar to take your food order or refill your drink, and the bartenders sometimes are unpleasant. Once we went for burgers, and 15 minutes after ordering, they told us they were out of hamburger.

This is the best local place, great atmosphere and great food! If you like pizza, then you will love this place! The other food on the menu is great too and the drinks are strong!

Pizza is great… pretty decent «bar food» menu to go with it. Great old Baraboo building, beautifully remodeled into an excellent watering hole with style. Exposed brick and tile floors contribute to the aesthetic appeal.

Excellent local find. Pizza is DELICIOUS. Great service… even to a couple of out-​of-​towners…
