Applebee’s

Took my nephew here for lunch last week. He ordered a full rack of ribs & I ordered a chicken caeser salad. Salad was ok, but didn’t really care for the dressing. When they brought the ribs, they we’re absolutely slathered in BBQ sauce. My nephew scraped some of the sauce off, only to discover the ribs were CHARRED! I wanted to have them sent back but my nephew didn’t want me too because he felt it would be wasting food. He ate what he could get off the bone. He was still hungry, so I ordered him a half– rack to go, & told the waitress to be sure these weren’t burnt! She didn’t bother to ask what was wrong, etc. They brought the ½ rack, which consisted of only 5 ribs, but they were cooked perfectly!!! My nephew tore into these like he’d never had ribs before!!!
I decided to speak with the manager & told her about the first rack of ribs. She said «well, he ate them»! I told her he only ate them because he didn’t like to see food go to waste. She said she would make an «adjustment». When I got the bill, she had taken the full cost of the first ribs off the check. It was the right thing to do & I gave the waitress a nice tip.

I had kinda given up on Applebee’s near me. So glad I gave this one a try. The servers were very nice and the service was prompt. The food was delicious and hot. I will definitely come back to this one. My steak was cooked perfectly.

Our party of 7 was seated right away at 4:20 on a Saturday. Server was right over, we ordered drinks. After that it went down hill. It took almost 50 minutes to get our food. The restaurant was NOT busy. When we finally got our check almost 1.5 hours later I asked the server to just please go ahead and cash us out. We needed to go. Did she honor my request… Oh no. Another 15 minutes. At least the food was good.

They were out of celery for my hot wings and didn’t tell me that before they brought them. I would have gotten a different appetizer if I had known that.

Came for the lunch special. The food was good and I was pleased with the quick service and the lack of diversity among the staff and patrons.

KWorst experience ever. There is a reason everybody goes the one downtown. Ordered boneless wings, they came out nasty and cold. My fiancé ordered french onion soup and the cheese in it had to be cut with a knife, after it was already sent back the 1^st time for it being cold. Then my meal came out, which i always get the Bourbon street steak off the sizzling part of the menu, key word here is suppose to be sizzling. First time I’ve been to any Applebee’s and it’s not come out sizzling like a fajita entrée. I ordered the mash potatoes they gave me the red potatoes with the other ones i ordered. Problem was the mash potatoes was cold as well as my steak. Will never go back there period. I wouldn’t recommend this location to any one… period!!!

We went in to this establishment on my fathers birthday. We were promptly seated and began checking out the menu to see what we want and, after choosing our preferred meals, we waited for a waiter or waitress to take our order. We waited for almost an hour, every table was served but ours, three waitresses went by and CLEANED the table across from us without a single glance in our direction. The table directly down the row from ours had their drinks refilled several times and the waiter didn’t even walk towards us. We promptly left, but not before asking to see the manager, who was «unavailable», and nearly being seated for a SECOND time. I can’t help but think that it has something to do with the fact that we were the only multi-​racial family that we had yet seen in the entire city. Perhaps they only notice dark-​skinned people when they are waiting to be seated.
