Cristina Patrick, OD

This is my second time visiting McClellan and Patrick Eye Care and I’ve had exams from both Cristina and Darren Patrick. Both do excellent jobs and get you in and out quickly.
I arrived about 20 minutes before my appointment last week because my insurance had changed, and I assumed I would have to fill out extra paperwork, but it turned out to be minor change. I was brought back for my exam just a few minutes after arriving; getting brought back 15 minutes before your appointment time is awesome and rarely happens these days. The exam was quick and then I was off to pick out new glasses.
I came in alone so I wasn’t sure if I’d actually pick out glasses that day because I didn’t want to make a decision I’d regret since I only take off my glasses when I sleep. I didn’t catch the girls name who was helping me but she helped me make a choice and was very helpful and sweet!
McClellan and Patrick doesn’t have the selection that stores like Lens Crafters have but I’m often overwhelmed by having TOO many choices — they have the right amount of choices. Prices aren’t located on the glasses which can be inconvenient at times but it really helped me decide what I truly liked and not what was the cheapest. In women they have lower end frames and also trendy brands like (off the top of my head) Ray-​Ban, Tory Burch, Coach, Dolce and Gabbana, Gucci, and most recently Bobbi Brown! My previous pair of glasses (Ray-​Ban) were purchased there almost three years ago and were still in great shape aside from the lenses. I picked up a pair of Bobbi Brown glasses this time and I’m happy with them so far!
Depending on what you have done to your lenses you can get them the same day or perhaps a week later. The pair I bought three years ago, I had some special coating put on them and they had to be sent off. This time around, I opted for a cheaper coating they had in stock and had my glasses about ½ hour later. What an awesome surprise!
