They were the only restaurant open during the winter storm. Very nice and great customer service. Sushi was good and hibachi grill was fun.

Everything is great here! The edemame was great. We also tried the Bardstown Roll and the Chili Tai roll, which had an interesting sweet tang that really went well with the snapper it was topped with. The hibachi shrimp was very nicely done, and the scallops, rice and veggies were just right. Service was impeccable as always!

This place is EXCELLENT! Exceedingly freindly and hospitable ownership and staff, excellent sushi — always fresh, super-yummy … family friendly … just great, great, great! I recently moved away from Bardstown, and it is seriously among the top 5 things I miss about my former home.

My favorite local sushi place. They are always friendly and very helpful in recommending new items to fit your likes. Sushi is always made beautifully.

Positives: Everything tasted good. In particular I liked the oyster chaser, which had big flavors but didn’t mask the nice oyster flavor. The location is nice. It is right across the street from the Hampton Inn, so if you are staying there it is very convenient. The Saba wasn’t as good as some I’ve had, but it was a nice cut of fish and again I enjoyed it. Negatives: The rice that came with the bulgogi was a bit chewier than I’m used to, but not to the point that it bothered me. The bulgogi tasted pretty good, but wasn’t spicy at all and seemed more like a bulgogi stir fry. Service was a little spotty as far as timing, but everyone was friendly and welcoming. Conclusion: With these Japanese fusion places I usually find it safer to go with a Korean dish and a couple of items from the sushi bar. Interestingly enough after tonight I wish I had tried a larger sampling from the sushi bar. Will update my review after I’ve had a couple of more chances to explore the menu. Overall the experience was better than I expected.

Love this place since new ownership took over. The selection of sushi greatly improved. The service is always good occasionally slow but worth the wait. Haven’t ate at the new Hibachi yet but noticed they now have one. I love this place.

Great food and great service. Las Vegas roll was awesome! Generous pour on the bourbon, although they don’t have a wide selection. Vegetable spring roll was fresh and not greasy, plus the accompanying sauce was nice blend of sweet and sour.

A really great find in the middle of bourbon country! Couldn’t believe it. Great service, really good sushi and a very entertaining grill chef! I would eat here weekly if I lived here.

While the exterior doesn’t evoke great sushi, this is a fantastic sushi place. We never expected to find decent sushi, much less great sushi, in a strip mall in Bardstown. The staff and service are equally excellent, and the variety of sushi is more than I’ve seen in many well established places. Such a great find, we hope others will discover them as well!

DON’T EATHERE! It’s sad, to go into a restaurant that my fiancé and and I frequent at least 3 times per month and have the server and owner argue with you in front of other customers about the food you were served. The owner threw a plate of food in the trash and dropped the FBomb!

I’m new to the sushi scene, but I went with two experienced tasters, and we all three agreed that it was very good. They provide a sushi bar, hibachi grill(with trained chefs), and a full alcohol bar. The outside was a tad sketchy, but the inside was very comfortable. The service was very quick and helpful. It was a great sushi experience!
