Cugini’s Pizza

They have the best pizza in the area! The service is great too! I recommend that people try their food they won’t be disappointed!

I’ve been here 3 or 4 times since the new owners took over. I waited to see if I had a bad meal or poor service before I wrote this review. I’m not sure why there are bad reviews. The staff is very friendly, service with a smile. The new owner comes out and greets everyone at their tables and asks how everything is. The food was excellent each visit and I ordered different meals and pizzas each time. I would highly recommend Cugini’s to anyone who likes a Brooklyn style Pizza and homage Italian food!

I love Cugini’s ! My friends meet me for lunch there. The lunch specials are great.
The menu is awesome ! Sometimes I go there with friends and some family for delicious dinners. They sometimes make some special old family style recipes I recall from childhood like my Nana’s tomato pie
I have had scrumptious Pasta Fagioli
there too.
The little pieces of pizza frit (fried dough) sometime available are so good. This place is a great stop for us all year round. It’s great to stop on our way home to and or from Old Forge. This place is the best !!

The Menu: I had this places food for the first time this sunday. I checked their menu online, which was convenient as ive never been. My girlfriend and I both picked a calzone and her daughter got a small sub. Total order came up to $ 30.65, you may think «Wow, thats alot for those items» and I agree. Their menu is lacking in the fact that its outdated on their website. They have a new menu and of course, items are more money. What kind of place, has a calzone on their menu and ONLY includes cheese? ALL toppings were separate charges, so we picked 3 items each and they were all .75 more. Since original price was $ 8.25, that brings price of a calzone to $ 10.50. Insane.
The Food: It was a smaller calzone than any other place ive had, but it was tasty. Toppings were great and included marinara sauce, just could have been a bigger portion.
We wont go back for a long time, if I ever do at all.

What’s with the hating on Cugini’s? Maybe they’ve changed their recipes… it’s pretty good! It seems that the other complaints have been about the sauce. I wouldn’t know since I order chicken wing pizza every time. It’s fantastic. The service is always friendly too. Honestly sad to see these reviews-​if I had seen them a while ago, I probably wouldn’t have tried their food. Glad I didn’t see it until now!

Tried out this place when it just opened because of its convenient location and ordered a simple large cheese pizza. The pizza was subpar at best, the sauce tasted like it was just poured out of a can. The pizza places like Venice’s, Pizza Boys, Rosario’s, in the utica area make this joint look like Pizza Hut.

This makes Nice and Easy Pizza look downright Sicilian. The crust isn’t terrible, but the sauce is so sweet it taste like high school cafeteria pizza. Since they took over from Three Tins, they did a beautiful remodel, but jacked prices and wait times for pizza through the new roof. Forty Minutes for a large pizza? Must be they have to defrost the DiGiorno Pizza from the freezer. And nothing like getting a pile of attitude from the staff, like I am impeding on their lives by ordering a pizza. Its a really good idea to open a business and put your ineffectual family at the counter, just being contemptful and conceded. I would avoid Cugini’s Pizza in the future. Oh, and the boulders blocking the Stewarts parking lot, that’s really classy. Just one more screw you from the staff of Cugini’s.
