Rufo Hardscape and Masonry

We purchased a house in Hyannis at the end of the summer that we thought was in good shape. To our surprise, we discovered that a section of the livingroom hardwood floor had swelled (hidden by the previous owner under a couch), and was getting worse with each passing week. A sharp carpenter figured out that there was no flashing around the chimney, and that this might be the source of the water.
Being new to the Cape, we turned to Unilocal to find a good mason. We called several masons with good ratings on Unilocal,Elliott called us back immediately and went out to look at the job, and had a quote for us in 24 hours. He knew that we needed lead flashing fused together to keep the water out, and was very patient about explaining to us how the flashing worked. His price was reasonable, and he proactively coordinated his schedule with the carpenter so that the house was never exposed to the elements. We highly recommend him and plan to use him again to rebuild our front stoop.
