This place was very disappointing. Customer service is subpar. I had a woman answer the phone, refuse to work with my reservation and then hang up the phone. They have $ 75 cancellation policy — even when cancellation is with 3 weeks notice — they do not make it clear that there is a minimum of a 2 night stay and they do not work with your reservation if changes need to be made. Avoid this place!!! Very very disappointing.

Location is good which is why I am giving 3 instead of 2 stars. It less than ¼ mile to the beach and about a 10 – 15 minute walk to downtown, prices are lower than most hotels in the area too. Each room has its own bathroom and breakfast is served each morning, which consists of cereal bagels muffins and OJ with apples and bananas. The rooms are very outdated and the showers are very small and gross, I wore my flip flops in the shower if that tells you anything. The rooms are small and I wouldn’t recommend spending multiple nights here, one or two is fine but after that it becomes uncomfortable. Also the AC was not working correctly in our room and it was a bit warm. I didn’t bother complaining because all of the other rooms were booked so there wasn’t much that they could have done. The innkeeper is friendly but a bit nosy and if you aren’t a morning person I would highly recommend sitting outside for breakfast because otherwise she will talk your ear off. Overall, if you are okay with no frills and outdated rooms/not the cleanest showers, then go for it. Not horrible for one or two nights if you are on a budget. I personally will be trying a different place next time that has 4 or 5 stars and better reviews(also look at Trip Advisor reviews for this place)

If your into the old world charm, basic, no frills by the ocean bed and breakfast, this is a wonderful place. It may be a little outdated, but that is part of its draw. If I wanted brand new, squeaky clean everything, I would stay in a high end hotel. For your money you get the basic needs met, a bed and a bathroom with a shower. The breakfast is continental,(coffee, tea, hot or cold cereal and some bagel with cream cheese). The owner is a sweet hearted and warm older Russian woman by the name of Raisa, who I and my family fell in love with.
