Alpha Dog Training

Dan is a great dog trainer. He has a ton of experience and can help you with problem solving certain behaviors, or just the basics that every dog should know. My husband and I have been taking our two German Shepherds to him for Schutzhund /​IPO training which is a specialized dog sport competition. He is one of the most accomplished competitors in the sport throughout New England, and is also a good teacher as well (the two do not always go hand in hand). What I like about training with Dan is that he explains everything that you are doing and why you are doing it so you will understand. Also, all exercises are broken down into smaller exercises to teach the behaviors to the dogs. The lessons were extremely reasonably priced, and you definitely get your money’s worth in time spent. We have never felt rushed. Lastly, he tells all of his clients to call him anytime during the week with questions, and we have always been treated in a professional and courteous manner. I would highly recommend Alpha Dog Training to anyone looking to train a household pet, or a sport /​protection dog.
