Stopped here over the weekend for lunch before heading out wine tasting. What a great find. Delicious food and friendly service. We’ll definitely stop here again on our next wine tour. Highly recommended.

I recommend the $.50 wings. The nacho platter is good too. Burgers are good. Beer is always good. This pic is some of the nachos an some of a dirty blond beer

Took the whole family. The service was so so great. The beer ice cold. The food came out fast and hot. Everything was delicious. Price was good. All and all very happy.

Delicious! Visited South Haven over the weekend and went to a bunch of wineries in the area, and one of them recommended here for lunch. The sandwiches are absolutely delicious! So were the onion rings :] We visit South Haven quite often and will definitely be making it a point to eat here every time we’re out there.

Stopped in the Baroda Tap & Grille tonight. Based on the other Unilocal Reviews, we tried the pretzel sticks and the fried pickles. We all very much enjoyed them. They had other appealing appetizers so we’ll have to come back. My Mom had the liver and onions, «very good! And the mashed potatoes were real!» Dad had the fish and chips(fries), «it was good; I’d have it again.» My husband had the Fried Chicken, «very good and hash brown casserole heavy but tasty.» I had the portobello sandwich and it was as yummy as described by other reviewers. Have one friend order the coleslaw so you can share. The service was very friendly and accommodating. It was clean, and one reviewer said it was run down with tears in the booth seating … I didn’t see any evidence of that. Perhaps it was remodeled because it all seemed new. Also, as promised the noise was held in check. We were there during dinner so it may get louder outside of the dinner hour. We’re here on weekends and definitely will be back and highly recommend.

Nice dining area for large groups and families. Also has a bar area for more casual dining. The pizza was amazing, we got the Italian. Another in our party got the pizza bagel which were actually four full sized bagels, so have a big appetite if you order those.

One Friday night, my girlfriend and I were driving from Chicago to Kalamazoo and the time zone change eliminated a lot of our usual dining options. Unilocal steered us a few miles off I-94 to Baroda Tap & Grille. It’s in the middle of nowhere. We got there at 9:50 and the bar was packed with people. We asked an employee when the kitchen closes and she said 10:00. If we ordered quickly, could they still whip us up a plate? Yes? Yes! The dining room is pretty sad-looking. My booth seat was ripped. The color scheme seems pretty goofy. But you’re not here for ambiance. You’re here for grub(or more likely, booze). We began with an order of the pretzel sticks($ 6.50). They were quite good, especially with the killer buffalo chicken cheese dip. That stuff was liquid gold. Incredible. I ordered the French dip($ 12). There wasn’t much roast beef on the bun and the Swiss cheese wasn’t entirely melted. It was pretty good, but I’ve had better. The French fries were out of this world, though. They’re giant curved slabs of potato. I have no idea how they carved them out of their larger potato bodies, but they were phenomenal. Also, they were scalding hot when they hit the table. Nice touch. Our server was SUPER nice. It was only her second day on the job, but she was friendly and cheerful, even though we were the only two there to eat. A significant downside: Baroda Tap & Grille is LOUD. The noise from the bar spilled into the dining room and there was a speaker blasting Johnny Cash right above us. I love Johnny Cash, but I also love not having my ears ring when I walk out of a restaurant. My girlfriend *loved* her grilled portobello sandwich($ 9.50). She raved about it for days afterward.(She did prefer my fries over her garlic potato chips.) Thanks for slaying our late night hunger, Baroda Tap & Grille. We’ll be back. Just nudge the volume down a bit, will ya?

We eat here often and have never had bad food or service. A few highlights: the deep fried pickles are a must, their Friday fish fry is great, and their portobello burger is great, which is good because it is one of their only vegetarian options on the menu. Overall this is a great place to eat and would recommend it to anyone.

We called in an order on the 4th, the guy sounded drunk who took my order. Asked to use coupons from Superbook, he said yes. Ordered a bunch of food, get there guy said he was only taking one coupon, didn’t care what was said on the phone. He took the lesser amount off for the food. I got the French dip and did not get any au jus for it. My husband got the meatloaf dinner. He took one bite and spit it out. Even our four boys who eat anything would not take a second bite of the meatloaf. Got the boys nachos which the chips were stale and the cheese like rubber. I had to use the French onion soup that I paid extra for as my au jus. The ham sandwich was probably the best thing. But we will NEVER go back after the guy who cashed out my husband threw his credit card at him after he said he didn’t care what was said on the phone about the coupons and he was only going to take off one! I am happy to take our $ 60 plus dollars elsewhere! We will never return!

Stopped in for lunch with our group of 11 during our wine tasting tour. The place is your typical local lunch spot. It was pretty empty but we were greeted promptly. They already had our table set up with water too, which was nice. We started with the fried pickles-glad we got 2 orders because for $ 8, you really did not get a lot. I had the grilled cheese & tomato sandwich with a side of their onion chips and for $ 4 you really can’t go wrong. It was delicious. Everyone in our group seemed to like their food. A lot of the food is that standard greasy bar type food, but a few managed to get salads, grilled chicken sandwiches, etc. I would stop in again!

I have been here twice. The first time was amazing. I had the fish sandwich and it was seasoned to perfection and not over fried, my dad had the portobello sandwich and loved it. The second time I came, the food was terrible. I ordered the fish sandwich again and it was undercooked and soggy. My mom ordered a pizza which also was under cooked, and my dad ordered the prime rib and our waitress kept messing up his order. She forgot my beer, which is ok because she was obviously very young and new. I don’t know how to rate this restaurant. I have had one great experience and one truly awful one. I guess I should go again? After my last experience though I find that unlikely.

On our way to wineries. Only place for miles. Thank goodness we found this place. The food was awesome! Best portabella sandwich ever!

As a tourist I have a basic want to be treated as folks would be treated if they were in my town as a tourist. Today I had a $ 31 tab and handed over $ 40 and received no change from the owner. I am not one to create a scene and this was a blatant tourist take and my first in the United States.

Came for a quick bite between wineries. Turned out to be a fantastic lunch and drinks! The bartender/owner Jim was amazing and nice and had a beer with us. We accidentally made new best friends with the fellow bar patrons and enjoyed surprisingly great food for a «bar» while having good conversation with great people! I’m from LA, CA and would make a point of coming back again. Midwest at its best.
