Barre Opera House is an absolute gem located in Barre, VT. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. The historic architecture is breath-taking and they really have a wide variety of show types from classical music, to toe tapping funk, to classic rock and much more. Their costs for shows are so incredibly affordable for the level of experience that you get. If you never been, make a date night of it and experience a true wonder of Barre.

We attended an excellent Natalie MacMaster concert here on 12÷4÷13. It’s a very intimate little theater with no more than around 500 seats. We were in the 2^nd row and it was an awesome treat to witness Natalie and her band up so close!
Even for someone as directionally-challenged as me, the venue is easy to get to and there is plenty of free parking. No complaints. We had a great time!

Love love LOVE coming to the Barre Opera House. The building is gorgeous and comfortable. The staff are extremely professional, especially the ushers. I have no doubt they are mostly volunteers which makes the feat even more amazing. I’ve never had trouble with tickets or parking. The experience is always easy from start to finish, even at really full shows. I’ve been coming here since I was a child and I expect to keep on going forever, even though I don’t live in the area anymore.
