Now under new management and name — Becky’s Bistro. Had a nice lunch there consisting of home made veggie burger, side salad and hot green tea. Servers and clientele were friendly. Will definitely return if the opportunity arises.

Services was good. Definitely recommend the egg Florentino and the home fries. The location is good. The service was good, just the young server was nice but was like in a rush. For example I had coffee she didn’t asked if I want creamer, she just assume, and my boyfriend had asked for the marinara sauce not be put on she said uh huh, but she never wrote on the recipe which we saw to pay the check. But otherwise, I would recommended for others who may be passing by. Give it a try.

As a breakfast/​lunch place, Exchange St Kitchen is outstanding. The menu is constantly changing, but only in small ways. Portions are in that «goldilocks zone», not too small, not too big. Prices are quite reasonable.
The fare here is just slightly more sophisticated than you’d expect for a diner. For example, one day they had a BLT with Avocado. I’ve never been disappointed with anything I’ve ordered, and I’ve done both breakfast and lunch here several times.
Service is often a bit slow, which seems to stem from the kitchen, not the wait staff. So if you are in a hurry, save your visit for another day when you aren’t so rushed.
There is ice cream window service as well, and I was very pleased with the quality of the ice cream when I visited just after they opened. Pine Ridge used to have a lot of trouble keeping the ice cream fresh, so this is a nice change. I think the ice cream prices are too high, but I think that about every place with ice cream window service.
They often have interesting specials, and post pics on their facebook page.
Bottom line: I think this is a big step up in quality from the previous owners, and it is fantastic that we have a non-​chain, non-​pizza, non-​grease lunch place on the common that my family actually likes.

This is exactly the kind of place we look for when camping. A small out of the way place with a great breakfast. It’s nothing fancy inside, but the service was friendly and the food hot fresh and delicious! 20 min from Pine Acres campground!
