Did not feel the love! So ironic, I had the same exact experience as Ashley(previous review). Booked appointment to get eyelash extensions of or my impending nuptials — not even to use a groupon. Walked in, someone popped out confused why I was there, asked my name three times and why I was there. I walked out. You don’t have a calendar that says who is coming in and their name? I said you don’t have my appointment scheduled?, she said oh you are all set then proceeded to ask me my name AGAIN! Unacceptable customer service. When a girl goes to a spa the first and foremost service standard you must accomplish is to be attentive to your client who came in to beautify herself! Not treat her like crap!

Having bought a Groupon for a massage at Ch’i Spa, I was initially dismayed to read the poor reviews of this location. I booked an appointment anyway, figuring I would find things out for myself. I feel fortunate in that my Groupon was accepted but that’s about as far as my warm and fuzzy feelings extend for this spa. The location was easy enough to find and I was happy to see that there was a great deal of parking by the storefront. I walked into a completely empty salon area. Two heads poked out of a doorway WAY at the other end of the spa. The look on their faces could only be described as people who were totally disinterested in coming to greet me. Whether or not that was the case… that is what I as the customer perceived by their facial expressions and lackadaisical way of coming to the front of the store. When they did eventually meander my way I explained that I had an appointment for a massage. I awkwardly stood around as one of the employees searched for the forms for me to fill out… I was not offered seating or direction. As the search commenced at least 3 other associates made their way to front, chatting among themselves, none acknowledging my presence. Interesting story… Michelle P.‘s review/experience happened the same day of my appointment. I distinctly recall these newcomer associates going on and on mockingly about how«maybe they should print out the Groupon terms and post them everywhere so people will get it» then some indistinct chatter followed by laughter and«I know, seriously». As an avid Groupon user myself, I know what its like to take the brunt from a business that is annoyed, frustrated, and downright negative with their Groupon customers. I found their banter and demeanor extremely rude in the wake of this apparent situation. Especially to talk so openly about it in front of another customer. All it did was make me wonder what they could say about me after I left… the whole situation did not give me the impression they value potential business. Things fortunately quieted down as my appointment began. The massage itself was mediocre. There was nothing wrong with the therapist’s skill… there was just nothing spectacular about it either. Something that did bother me though was that my therapist was sick. Like, so sick that her voice projected barely above a whisper and she sniffled and cleared her throat constantly throughout the appointment, putting me on edge. Why I didn’t just reschedule when she first opened her mouth is beyond me at this point(I remember I had had a long day up to that point and it was a long drive so I just went with it). Its not her fault that she was sick nor that I proceeded with the massage, but perhaps a phone call or a call out sick would have been better than driving all the way there to find that out. I am not holding this against them in my review, just noting that it did not seem to behoove them to think that a customer might be bothered by the fact that a sick employee is about to come in close physical contact within an enclosed space. I will not be returning here. I have little confidence in their customer service, did not feel valued as a customer, and would prefer to seek my spa services elsewhere.

I just spoke to Stephanie who was very rude in her explanation of how their Groupon deal is a scam. I wanted to get two massages for my wife and I, however they refused to honor the Groupon and said that I should read the fine print more closely. if this js the way you treat your customers then I assume your business will not do well. I wish I would have looked them up before because they didn’t even get high rating. Don’t come here.

I have never had a good experience at this salon and spa. They seem to have a rotating door with hairstylists and even when I have come in for some thing as simple as a root touch up, I have never actually gotten what I asked for, and am then charged more than advertised once I get to the front desk. I never returned to the salon. I then purchased a Groupon for massage, and they would not honor it based on the terms on Groupon. This was the last straw for me. Very very disappointing.

I purchased a Groupon for my daughter for Christmas, she scheduled at an appointment. The spa sent an email confirming the appointment. When she arrived for her appointment, they told her her appointment wasn’t confirmed, and they would try to squeeze her in. They gave her a trainee to do her cut, highlights and conditioning treatment. Her appointment was at 1, it is now after 5, her highlights just got done. They haven’t even started on the cut and conditioning yet! She had to call her job because she, at this point, is supposed to be at work. NEVER in my many years on this earth have I known of a stylist taking over 4HOURS to do highlights! Very unprofessional, once an appointment is made, IT’S MADE! Unless the customer calls to cancel. Also, the purpose of selling services on Groupon is to drum up business thru word of mouth regarding great services, not blaming a customer for their inability to properly run a business. Yet they are acting as if they’re doing her a FAVOR by squeezing her in? Will NEVER recommend this spa to ANYONE!

I’ve been there over 5 times in the last few months and have had nothing but great experiences. Each girl did an amazing job. I don’t go anywhere else anymore. The color comes out amazing and I get consistent compliments on it and always send them to get their hair done there. Can’t wait till my next appointment later this week!

Very unprofessional. I purchased two massages, however they refused to honor the terms of the groupon. They decided they could just make up their own rules and I was denied service. I would not recommend these unprofessional idiots to anyone!!!

I was referred to Deiccy for color and style and Ana for brows. I was extremely pleased with the level of professionalism and talents of Deiccy-she had a great eye for color and blow dry style at a reasonable cost. Ana was precise and friendly. I travel often and am often disappointed than pleased –this salon is great.
