Piezoni’s

I have always loved Piezoni’s pizza, but this location was dirty and the staff was very unprofessional. Their conversation between themselves was more important than serving new customers. When our pizza was brought to our table and he dropped half of it. The least he could have offered us for his clumsiness would be complimentary drinks, but nothing!

This is my forth or fifth time dining at this establishment. I keep trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but there isn’t much redeeming about this Piezoni’s. This place is staffed by teenagers with zero work ethic. I am currently sitting in this restaurant, there are at least 5 employees here and only 1 of them is attempting to work (a young girl long straight brown hair). I waited for a salad for over 30 minutes. The favorite word of the young men hanging around behind the counter seems to be the F word. I walked up and asked for a lid to take my salad home and was given 5 blank stairs before being handed a lid by the only girl actually doing work. The only reason I give this place 2 stars and not 1 is the fact that they attempt gluten free options; they will usually burn them, but at least they’re on the menu.

I love their buffalo chicken pizza, and I have for years. I’ve watched them go through several remodeling phases, but honestly I come back for the pizza.

I had been reluctant to try Piezoni’s based on the extremely negative reviews. My wife had been to a lunch play date with the kids where Piezoni’s had been served and was happy with the pizza, so I decided to give them a try.
We ordered a pepperoni and a mushroom. The pizza quality was good but I was disappointed with how «done» the pie was. It seemed that it could have used another 5 minutes in the oven. That being said, it was fresh and the ingredients were tasty!
Now, as for the reviews of the staff and service, I couldn’t disagree more with the negative reviews. The girl that rung me up couldn’t have been more friendly. She attempted to make small talk and seemed very happy to be there!
Next time I’ll order the pizza well done and life will be good!

Positives: you can order online. Barrington food delivery places seem to be behind the times when it comes to web ordering. Glad this place has it. I’ve had some sandwiches and buffalo chicken pizza here which were yummy.
Negative: every time I’ve ordered delivery it takes over an hour. Over an hour! Every time.

What happened to piezonies??? First off, no more homemade dipping sauces. The chicken fingers were practically burnt in the fryer and revived small kens brand sauces. What a let down. I saw a picture of their sweet and spicy calamari and decided to order that as well… What I got was nothing like the picture. This calamari looked like onion rings, no hot peppers. Yes sauce was on the side to probably prevent my to go order from getting soggy. But still, this is not at all what I had hoped for. Piezonies has upped their prices and gone down the drain on quality as well.

Food is decent. Service is total dog sh*t. Was there today to pick up a call in order. The girl at the counter was on the store phone talking to her friend, not even taking an order. Put 2 actual customers on hold to keep talking to her friend and ignoring me. 10 – 15 mins later she hangs up the phone, forgets about the people she put on hold and finally gets around to helping me. 2 more mins and i would have walked behind the counter and gotten my own food. I refuse to eat there now.

Ordered for the first time from piezonis barrington via their online website. Everything was delivered within a reasonable amount of time, correct and good:) My 2 daughters enjoyed the pizza too. Wings are a good size! Will order delivery from them again in the future.

Great restaurant, modern interior and just a great spot to stop for pizza. The pizza is different, in a good way.

Awful delivery service. Takes over an hour and food is cold.

Wow. After ordering a 17″ cheese and pepperoni pizza from here and a side of «ultimate fries» to go, all I can say is wow. They didn’t even get the order correct.
We received a cheese and pepperoni on one side, nothing but sauce on the other side pizza. I can only assume we got the wrong pizza.
I hesitate to even call this sheet a «pizza». I agree with one of the previous reviewers, The crust was literally like a sponge. The sauce was generic tasting cisco food service fare. And the cheese was almost non existent (on the side that actually had cheese)
The fries were frozen bag fries smothered in grease, topped with cheese & a couple of random bacon bits. (there was nothing to dip these fries in unlike how it was described in the menu)
It was some of the most uninspiring food I’ve eaten since I ordered a slice of pizza at a Pawsox game circa 1989.
The most entertaining part of my Piezoni’s experience was the five minuet wait for my order to be completed, basically getting to listen to the young girl behind the register share with her coworker the details of last night’s date with her boyfriend.
It’s no surprise Piezoni’s is so popular in Barrington.

So my daughter asked for this pizza for her birthday party… who can say no to a brand new 9 year old daughter… not me.
I actually ate a piece of this mess. The only way I can describe this pizza is it is like eating a salty, greasy sponge. Better off getting a frozen one for Shaw’s. At least you know that one is going to be awful but it is cheaper.

Always reliably gluten free. They handle cross contamination concerns well. We go at least once a week!

Some of the worst pizza I have ever eaten. Even my starving kids pushed it aside. I genuinely don’t understand how a place could make such incredibly bad pizza. In fact, a business acquaintance of mine even used Piezoni’s as a punch line about how horrible some of the food is in Barrington. It’s a shame.
