Don’t waste your time trying to deal with the Copy & Print Shop. I decided to do holiday cards this year so popped into Staples to inquire about the availability of return address labels produced in-store. The kind but frazzled associate showed me to a computer where I whipped up my order, printed my receipt, and was advised it would be a few hours. No problem, lots of shops to hit. Three hours later, I popped back in for a status update. After spending nearly 5 minutes at the empty counter without being acknowledged and having one«computer tech» associate literally walk directly in front of me without so much as a word, I spoke to a different associate and was basically told«oops, your order got buried under a pile of other stuff». Ok, no worries. I’ll grab a bite & come back in 20 – 30 minutes. I was assured my order would be ready. Ten minutes later, I get a phone call asking me to come back to the store because my order«couldn’t be accessed» because I hadn’t paid yet so back I went to pay. Please note, I was not prompted to pay during either of my 1st two visits. Twenty minutes later, I went to pick them up. I was then informed that my design wasn’t available for in-house production and that I could pick a different design but it would be another 3 hours! Seriously?! Really?! I love hanging out in Barrington, but 7 hours would have been overkill and possibly landed me a loitering citation. Long story short, the store is understaffed, undertrained, and I left beyond underwhelmed after patiently waiting nearly 5 hours for my labels.
